Strange Enemy

Among the hallways in the university, Christopher is standing inside of it.

His eyes are staring at a humanoid entity, wearing a dark hoodie and a dark mask resembling a horse.

"Tell me, who are you?!" Christopher held his bamboo sticks tighter.

The masked entity named "Masked 2" makes a slow step towards Christopher.

Christopher stays on his ground as his enemy is walking towards him.

AT THE FIRST FLOOR OF MANILA UNIVERSITY

Andres turns his eyes over to Kenyon and pushes him away.

A long tongue strikes the floor between them, delivering a small crater on the floor.

Andres shakes his head and looks up. Above the staircase, he sees a man wearing a hoodie with a white mask resembling a horse.

The atmosphere turns tense as both men jump from side to side, avoiding every tongue slash.

"Who are you?" Andres narrowed his eyes while pulling out a knife from the sheath on his belt.

The entity pulls his tongue back in his mask and laughs.

"You don't remember, don't you?" he jumped and landed right in front of Andres.

The entity continues to speak, "I am summoned here to defeat and annihilate the new elemental warrior."

Those words bring Kenyon to narrow his eyes and his brows to furrow.

White smoke occupies the entire first floor, and Andres moves his eyes down and he grits his teeth.

"Too cold!" Andres saw a pair of white shoes moving across his sight.

Therefore, Andres looks up and sees Kenyon right in front of him with his back facing him.

"I have come for long miles to find him, I won't let you harm him, moron."

Kenyon claps and as he separates his hands, a sphere of ice manifests. He molds the sphere into an ice spear and throws it at the entity.

The entity swings his hand, and he has the spear in his hand.

"A stronger warrior could never miss that throw." the entity tightened his grip on the spear.

Cracks manifest on the spear and it breaks apart.

The red eyes behind the mask glow, and the ground starts to shake.

The entity says, "Calling yourself a warrior for sacrificing your comrades to gain that power? Pathetic."

Kenyon glances at Andres. "You go away."

The entity appears between them in the blink of an eye, and he kicks both of them away.

"Did I tell any of you to talk as I speak?"

He appears in front of Andres who's pushing himself back to his feet. He thrusts his hands toward the entity but his enemy lowers his body as he lands multiple punches on Andres; hitting his chest down to his abdomen.

He coughs and the entity holds his face and slams Andres on the floor.

The entity raises his foot and stomps Andres but the entity turns around.

He witnesses a huge solid ice barrier going towards him, then, he punches the barrier with his bare hand.

Cracks manifest on the barrier and it breaks apart, and an ice spear emerges from the crumbling barrier.

The spear pierces through the entity's shoulder, and he coughs.

"Is that so?" he held the spear and dark flame covered the entire spear.

The entity stands up and turns his eyes at the hole on his shoulder, he covers it with dark fire.

The dark fire fades away, leaving a new healed skin.

The entity looks down. "Covering my feet with ice won't stop me."

A deep cut manifests on his back, and he glances behind him. Behind him is Andres, standing with narrowing eyes while wielding a knife in his left hand.

Andres steps toward him, and he holds the entity's neck, and wraps his other hand around the entity's abdomen.

Andres jumps as a huge ice drill pierces through the entity's chest.

"You're done for!" Andres landed on the huge drill.

He raises his knife and thrusts it down to the entity.

"Funny." the entity laughed.

He catches Andres' left wrist and pulls him down, immediately, the entity kicks Andres.

He bounces on the ground as the entity pushes the drill into his chest until it emerges from his back.

A huge bleeding hole is what is left on his chest but dark fire manifests on his upper body.

The flame vanishes leaving a bare toned muscular chest.

"Andres, this is not a joke." Kenyon looked at Andres.

"But I want to help!" Andres looked at him.

"A human proficiency in using tools will not help," Kenyon said.

The entity cracks his knuckles, and he walks toward them.

"Time's up," the entity generated dark fireballs in his hands, "I just wanted the new warrior to die but here you are acting tough, Kenyon."

Ice particles manifest on Kenyon's bare skin, his white eyes shimmer, and white smoke surrounds the entire floor.

"Heed to my warning, do not drag my ally into our fight," Kenyon ordered the entity.

The entity dashes towards Kenyon and strikes him with his fists but Kenyon avoids them all.

"It's not common that a being like this wouldn't know my name," Kenyon whispered.

The entity grabs his wrists and tosses him in the other direction.

Kenyon levitates and fires ice spears toward the entity.

Andres and the entity avoid the spears but Andres grabs one.

He looks at the entity and throws the spear towards him. The spear pierces through the entity's abdomen, and he turns his eyes at Andres.

He thrusts his foot straight into the entity's mask but the entity catches his foot.

Kenyon appears between them, he kicks Andres from the entity's grasp.

"Stop," Kenyon turned at the entity.

He aims his hands at the entity and releases an ice beam.

Ice spikes manifest everywhere on the second floor as the ground, walls, and ceiling are covered in ice.

Andres looks around him. "This is Kenyon's power."

The entity is covered in ice while Kenyon is standing near him while panting.

"Do you think, I will let you defeat me?"

Kenyon narrows his eyes and looks in a certain direction, there, he sees a taller man standing in the hallway, his eyes are dark grey, and he has a long grey

"You!" Kenyon swung his hands, releasing ice daggers.

Andres runs and reaches the tall man but he turns toward Andres.

He remains calm as he punches Andres' guts with his hand covered in dark fire.

"Is this the new warrior? Pathetic," the tall man said.

Kenyon goes in Andres' direction and catches him in his arms.

The tall man covers himself in dark fire, he watches Kenyon as he disappears along with the flames.

"I vowed to end you, until that time comes, I will not hesitate to finish you."

The tall man narrowed his eyes as he witnessed Kenyon standing while glaring at him.

Andres stands up and moves his eyes down to his abdomen. Burns covers his abdomen, and he touches it but ends up flinching.

Kenyon is only narrowing his eyes while gazing at Andres' wound.

Afterwards, inside the university, Andres is standing in front of a wooden pole, and the entity that Kenyon fought.

"I guess I'm alone," Andres said, "I need to interrogate this entity or should I say Patricia."

The entity tied on the pole has her mask removed, revealing the face of a woman with a scar on her cheek.

"Hmmm... where am I?" Patricia gained her consciousness.

She looks around and her eyes land on Andres, and she roars at him.

"Don't worry, you're safe," Andres told her, "I just need some answers."
