Chapter 2

The woman's name was Rida and she was the leader of the tribe, she told the other guys to take away Liam and scarlet to there dungeon and she said to leave me here, he got up as soon as the others were away, she circled me and inspected me.Octavia watched her every move, she never let her guard down but she was also studying rida who was very interesting, she was very intimidating but it did not affect Octavia that much.Rida stopped and asked "yaow dishi yama gera kohere nanati yamate nama?'' Octavia replied with "um ern maho sutaf motenhigh tashi kohere ern atano nama wass Octavia" which roughly translated to "where did you come from and who are you? Which Octavia replied with "um a magic staff brought us here and my name is Octavia". Rita said "Interesting well I think we might be able to help each other, right know I'm at war with a neiboring tribe, I think you could help us, especially with your skills we might be able to win, that or your friends die". Octavia was a bit taken back, she did not know she could speak English but she went with it "ah black mail just what I need right know, fine ill help you but you have to swear my friends safety!".


Rida promised them safety but then she warned "You will be staying with me though so I know you wont try anything and even if you managed to escape I have your friends so you are not going anywhere, anyway ill have one of my personal guards take you to my place, if you excuse me I have important meeting to get to". She went out of the tent and spoke with one of her men, he came to escort me to ridas place. Octavia decided to jump onto her bed and relax she quickly fell alseep, she was exhausted and tired of all the commotion. She awoke hearing rida saying "well you sure made yourself at home", Octavia opened her eye seeing rida covering her eyes, Octavia did not realize that the blanket was uncovered. She forgot that most of the time she always takes off her satant in her sleep, she blushed and grabbed the blanket covered herself up, rida uncovered her eyes and yawned and said "Well ill take the couch since you took the bed", Octavia replied with "heh sorry, night" she went back to bed and relaxed.


She woke up and slowly sat up, she looked over to a blurred vision of rida sleeping on the couch, she rubbed her eyes and looked for her satant, she put them on and went outside the tent, she stretched out and heard rida get up. She looked around the camp and saw children playing in the distance and woman carrying around water and food.Rida walked up beside her and said "I'm sorry I had to black mail you, its for my peoples sake and I just can not risk anything happening to them".Octavia nodded and replied " I get it, I would do anything to save my friends", she suddenly saw her friends helping out a group of people lift a rock.She smiled and started to walk towards them, she saw liam flirting with a guy, scarlet locked eyes with me and smiled she pioted at laim and made kissy faces, octavia laughed and she went to hug scarlet.She smiled and asked "so how are you doin? they treating you good?", scarlet shrugged and smiled, "They put us to work thats all but they are nice, heh and it seemes liam has found a little crush". Octavia laughed as they watched laim talk with the guy, once they were done talking liam saw octavia and ran over saying "thank god your still alive".Octavia and scalet looked at him smiling, liam rolled his eyes.


Sudenly Rida showed up behind octavia saying "Octavia would you mind if we had a word?", Scarlet and Laim both looked at rida surprised she could speak english but octavia nodded and stayed put waiting for her qeustion.Rida shook her head and said "Alone?", octavia followed Rida away from her friends.Once they were alone Rida said in Shalanese "Shiwa irana korowa sore durone tenas suteen kosoning sodorn, Ihr scruda airel erit kof yama kita sagind karem, shiwa aideto hiten ern suna sodorun koko".Octavia nodded and said "arighty done, and what are those snake creatures? we rode on one on our way here?".Rida smiled and said "They are called Soratobu, they give us transportation but they are hard to tame and they reqire life long bonds".Octavia was intriged by the creatures and definatly wanted on but she knew she did not have time for it so she walked off thinking about her mission she was given.Rida told her that someone was being sneaky and that octavia needed to find the spy so she did her best, she looked around the camp and started to familerize people around her.She needed to know people so she could get information, so she started to help people out with verious things like, carrying stuff to one location to another, and helping with making verious objects. She learned that some of them could speak english it tued out that rida had started to teach people how to speak english.


Midday they ate lunch with a small family they were helping, they ate a sandwich made out of strange delishious meat and cheese, it was delishious.Surprisingly they would see rida among the other people alot, helping out with stuff and talking with others, octavia and rida would occasionlly lock eyes and smile at one another.They had a certien understanding of one another which was comferting but octavia still did not trust her after all she did threaten her.She saw liam talking with the same dude from this moring, she smiled and instantly thought of something funny, she ran over there and slung her arm over liam sholder.She started to intoduce herslef "hey mister, you better take care of liam for me, he is a bit of busybody if ya know what i mean" she winked at the blonde guy and liam shoved her off and shooed her away, apoligising to him.She laughed and scarlet went up to her and laughed as well, "Dam did not know you had the balls to say that".They started to get tired after all the hard work they been doing do they started to take a break, she was drinking water when she saw rida sit down next to her.People begin staring at them and octavia seemed to notice it but rida did seem to care, so she asjed "Um why they stareing at us?".Rida smiled and said "They do this anytime i start hanging out with anyone, they want me to pick a partner".


Octavia did not know what that meant so she asked "what do u mean?", Before she could awnser a little kid when up to them and said "yall too might get married right? so you can produce an heir?".Octavia turned red and rida smiled and bent down to the little kid saying "No but one day i will get married", the little girl seemed sadisfyed with her awnser and skiped away.Octavia never really thought about love or getting married mostly because she thought she would stay in the bunker forever.She brushed off the ideas and looked up at the sky watching the sun, it was beutiful and she was in total awe until rida said "I really hope we win this". Octavia looked over to rida and saw how concerned she looked, she was looking at her people, octavia felt a pang of sympathy and said "me to".They got back to work and when it was around dinner time, the tribe all ate together, when they were eating Octavia saw something move in the corner of her eye. She got up and excused herself to the bathroom, she gave rida that serious look, rida nodded, and she also excused herself to, they, they got alot of stareing as they walked off.


They started to follow the hooded figure, rida made hand gestures to go right and she would go left to surround and ambush the person. The hooded person in sight was looking through there stuff, looking for something she saw rida on the other side signaling to move forward.They both started to close in on the person but before they could tackle her a group of people came through the bushes and greeted the stranger.They talked a bit then they handed the stranger what looked like a camera, she could not hear what they were saying mostly because they were closer to rida.She looked to Rida to see what they were saying but she was to far away, once the group disappeared leaving the figure alone, Rida counted to three on her fingers to let Octavia know when to attack.Once it was time to attack they both jumped forward and tackled the stranger down to the ground, Octavia held him down and rida uncovered her hood, it was one of the people she helped around the village.Rida seemed to know her well, she teared up a little but tried to not show it.Rida said "hah so has the back stabber come to say hello has she? Ivy",Octavia was confused but she assumed it was one of her ex. or best friend.Octiva decided to ask "so um how you know eachother and why are you sneaking around ivy?", rida shook her head and chuckled.Rida replied with "She was my girlfriend until I found out she was working with the other tribe so I kicked her out".Octavia looked at ivy expecting her answer, ivy groaned and said "okay jeez jeez yes I did that and I was sent to spy on yall again but I got caught so what yea gonna do know?".Rida looked up to Octavia and said "okay lets take her to the dungeons and make sure she is locked up, ill figure out something".


They took Ivy to the dungeons and made sure she couldn't get out, they returned to dinner and realized everyone was waiting on them so rida returned to her seat.Rida said "sorry for the wait there were some complications with the bathroom, lets continue to eat".Octavia finished her meal and returned to ridas place, she jumped onto the couch and thought about her situation, it was all new to her, she still count believe that they were on a different plant.While thinking she fell asleep for a short time until she heard rida enter the tent, she sat up and realized it was late at night, rida did not seem to notice her and started to change into her night clothes, Octavia turned around and tried to get some sleep.She tossed and turned throughout the night, she got up and walked a bit before she went back to sleep.Octavia jerked a bit, rida was trying to get her up, Octavia mumbled "five more minutes", rida sighed and stole the blanket I groaned and got up.She hated when someone woke her up it left her in a pissy mood.She stole the blanket back and put it on the couch. She rolled her eyes at rida and went outside to stretch.Rida went out after here and said "hey not my fault, we wake up early here".Octavia started hearing screams and saw people in the distance fleeing, she looked at Rida they started running to the seen, suddenly there was a huge explosion knocking them to the ground, she came to it hearing screams, she got up rubbing her eyes trying to see what was right in front of her.She saw ridas hand extend to help her walk.
