All the guards stepped down suprised and shocked at the same time. Stenson breathed hard. Naysa had shot just the ground close to his legs.
"Don't forget my father was general Henry Haven." Naysa emphasized every word.
Back then when her father was still alive, he used to come home with the gun. She would spend more time with her father, training to aim at the target. Her father would teach her how to aim with an empty gun.
"But why are you interested in knowing how to handle a gun?" He would ask her every time she was aiming.
"I believe I'll need the knowledge one day, but for now, am doing it for fun." She would reply.
Naysa looked at the shocked Stenson and smiled. Cindy had heard the gun shoot and came to look. She was shocked to find Naysa holding the gun right in Stenson's face. Stenson held his hands up. The other guards wanted to charge at her and forcefully take the gun.
"One more move, he's dead. My request is very simple, let me go. I want to leave, why are you holding me back?" Naysa asked.
" But madam, for the sake of Jemmy, you can't leave." Stenson answered.
"But I want to." Slowly, Naysa dropped the gun at Stenson's feet and matched to the gate which was a few meters from the house. No one dared to stop her.
Her speed is terrifying! All the guards thought as they looked at her disappearing figure.
"Stenson what really happened? How did she?... "Frank started but was stopped by Stenson's glare.
"I don't know... Am as confused as you are. Now, stop asking questions and think of a better explanation we will tell boss. A mere lady we can't stop..." Stenson said picking up his gun.
"Are you not the silly one? A lady snatched your gun!" Adrian said.
"Stop talking nonsense, why didn't you stop her? You all stood there and observed." Stenson snorted.
"Shit! I never thought she knows how to handle a gun." Frank clicked.
Feeling down, Stenson entered the car. "Second boss is never present when he's needed most, he could have stopped her." Stenson cursed. It was just when a convoy drove in. Hank and Jemmy jumped out. The guards lowered their faces respectfully as Stenson trembled. Looking at his expectant boss, he knew today wasn't a good day for him and the other guards either.
"Boss... We don't know what happened but she left." Stenson trembled as he said those words.
"What did you say?" Jemmy roared. Hank smiled Mockingly at the guards and walked in. They felt like crying. Hank never took matters seriously unless it concerned him, but he worsened the already worse issue by smiling, causing Jemmy to frown even more.
"How did she walk past more than a hundred guards?" Jemmy asked, casting a questioning look at all the guards.
"Sir... It's not like we couldn't stop her... We just didn't use force because either way, the while situation would be as ugly as now." Frank said.
"Will you shut up? What happened? Why did she leave? How?" Jemmy asked.
"Boss, no one knew madam would be good at shooting. Whether she missed intentionally or accidentally, she ordered no one to move or she would shoot Stenson. She was too serious it didn't look like a joke." Adrian explained. Everyone held their breath tight.
Jemmy dialed Naysa's number and no one picked the call. After a while, he turned to Stenson. "Make sure you give me a report on where she went after walking out. You have five minutes." He walked into the car.
Stenson ran into the house and into the computer room. After several phone calls, he came out. He had taken less than five minutes.
"Boss, she couldn't be in school because she didn't go back. From here, she didn't go to her apartment but went straight to her home."
"Get into the car. Destination, Haven's home"
The guards got in and soon the convoy of cars left towards Haven's home.
HAVEN'S HOME
Uncle Tarran was out cleaning the compound when a convoy of cars entered. He stopped midway and looked up. He wasn't sure who the people were since the last time the president's men were here, no one else showed up.
The cars lined up and uniformly dressed guards came out first. Then the door was opened and a handsome young man walked out. Uncle Tarran had never seen him. He half closed her eyes and observed the man as he walked closer.
"Good evening." He greeted respectfully.
"Good evening young man. How may I help you?" Uncle Tarran asked.
"Am here to get Naysa Haven." He went straight to the point.
