I swiftly flew towards the capital ship, the seven enemy fighters left their defensive position to engage me head on. I didn't wish to waste time dealing with these weaklings, so I just flew right through them completely bypassing and ignoring them while continuing onwards to the capital ship.
As I got closer to the capital ship, the small gun turrets aligned all along the exterior of the ship started aiming toward me and firing trying to finish me off before I do them. I twisted and turned my ship in multiple ways in attempts to dodge most of the incomin fire, a few would hit but my shields would take care of a few small shots.
I sped along the hull of the ship aiming my direction to the center where the bridge was located, I locked my torpedoes onto my target and fired the moment I got a clear shot. The moment I fired, I veered my ship upwards out of harms way from the large ships cannons.
Through the rear camera system I could see the bridge of the Dominions ship go up in flames with no possibility of survival. The ship soon stopped movin with no one controlling it; eventually they might be able to reroute the wires for control and set up a temporary control system to get it movin again but that could take days.
Just as I was about to finish off the enemy fighter and head back to the Evanescent, I saw another fighter all by itself take off from the hanger of the capital ship. It was different from the rest, unlike the small little defense/heavy firepower fighters the others have; this one is larger with thick metal plating and heavy shields. It would take quite a few torpedoes to destroy that.
Before it reached my location, I thought it best to go ahead and take care of the seven fighters still at large. With that goal, I pushed my throttle to full speed towards those seven fighters who at the moment were turning around and heading back to me.
I fired my laser cannons first; the completely dodged my fire and split off from each other to flank me on the right and left. I used a spin move to shake off the incoming fire and then abruptly veered my course to the right firing off three torpedoes, each for a single ship.
Each of those torpedoes hit their targets, completely obliterating the pilots and their fighters. The fighters that went on my left are now closing in on me from behind firing away with only a few shots hitting me.
I use the thrusters to push my ship downward while turning my ship upwards to where I could see the four enemy fighters now above me and I opened fire with my laser cannons. It looked like they flew right into my stream of fire, and every one of those four when down in a fiery death.
Those few minutes of time used up to clean the area, was enough for the Admiral and his fighter to catch up. He quickly dived down toward me and opened fire with cannons and missiles alike, not giving me any room to breathe.
I rolled my ship to the left, having the topside take the most damage where it is also the sturdiest. No major damage was done, only a few scratches and dents in the metal; it was enough however to break my shields which means a i now only have basic plating to defend me.
Of course I didn't give him any time to continue firing at me, i immediately flew straight at him with my laser cannons and torpedoes firing crazily at him, leaving nothing to chance. He was able to dodge the first few but eventually they all started to bombard his ship; at first his defenses held easily but after a few torpedoes hit, his ship started breaking apart and sending sparks everywhere. I saw my opportunity to swing my ship around to position myself behind him, where I quickly let loose my remaining four torpedoes.
The last four were enough to finish him off; his ship exploded into smithereens leaving nothing but his memories behind.
After blowing up the Dominion Admiral, I immediately flew my ship back to the Evanescent and I to the hangar. As I stepped out, I took a quick look over the damage I sustained in the last battle. I felt a little frustrated seeing the dents and scratched off paint, but knowing that my droids will soon repair it, made me feel better. I then left for the bridge, hoping we can now get the hell out of here.
"So anything changed since I left?" I asked as soon as I arrived on the bridge.
"Nope, not for us. The Dominion Fleets are retreating from the Empire though." Surprisingly it was Sarah that answered me instead of ADP-01.
"Well at least your paying attention." I commented
"Well let's get out of here, I want sit down in a restaurant to eat after that battle! ADP, take us to the food capital of the galaxy!" I enthusiastically order ADP-01
"Yes Master!"
