Before she could utter a work the two flew forward at a speed that left an afterimage. They then saw daggers nailed to where they stood seconds ago. Xaio Yu waster no time darting out of the alley while his brain moved at Mach speed.

Bai Yang could only shut her eyes since each time she opened the she's get dizzy from looking at his movement. But as he was going through inner turmoil his expression suddenly hardened before saying "it's look like he's run out of patience it looks like we're going to have to go all out here"

Xaio Yu could feel this assassins Malice drawing near ad decidedly stood his ground no longer bothering to run. The speed of this assassins attack was shook her to the core. She suddenly looked at the unfazed Xaio Yu. Next to her, the were face to face and she couldn't help blushing looking at the man who saved her.

However what she didn't know was that this was an act in order to hide his unavoidable anxiety. His constitution could explain his speed an burst of power. But that last attack was dodged purely by luck. In fact he was sure he wouldn't understand what happened in these short moments of life and death.

His sudden halt perplexed the masked assassin and give how he evaded a sure kill art and missed both targets his vigilance was at his peak. It was as if two masters of their respective arts were gauging each other . Xaio Yu suddenly moved… in the opposite direction carrying Bai Yang moving at his fastest speed leave Bai Yang and the assassin stunned, abut after quickly recovering his senses the assassin roared in anger before giving chase.

" I thought your were preparing to face him, who knew you could be so shameless " Bai Yang had to stifle her laughter while Xaio Yu simply shrugged before coolly saying " sorry but I'm not a fan of death."

"That would have been better said when you weren't running away." Bai Yang let out a laugh almost forgetting that dead was on their tails.
