CHAPTER SIXTEEN

The spell was done. She dropped to her knees, tired and exhausted as life returned to Carl's body. He gasped back to life and looked at his Mom. She ran to him and hugged him. For a moment there, she thought she had lost him. Beth groaned and opened her eyes. They all ran to her

"What happened?" She asked

"It's nothing. We are just glad that you are okay"

Emily said as she hugged her. Carla sighed. Emily did love her like she was her own daughter. Carla watched them hug each other but what she could not understand was how Beth was from a royal lineage. She could not link her to any royal blood she knew. Emily had told her everything she knew about Beth and she didn't think Emily would keep something as huge as this from her especially if she knew how much damage than could do to anybody that tried to kill her and drain her of her powers.
