"Witch's crawl #2

" I have something to tell you magret " victor said facing magret who is reading a book.

" well spit it out " magret said impatiently.

" There's a witch in landmark the pope told me"victor said.

"What?" Magret said shocked.

" Yes and I can't possibly tell the villagers yet but we plan on" victor continued.

" well where is it ?" Magret asked.

"It's kept in the church in order not to possess anyone locked up in a special chamber called the Holy of holies.

Mary walked into the church she sees mother Theresa praying her two hands together facing the statue of the Lord Jesus on the cross hung on the wall. Mary walked up to mother Theresa and curtsied. "Mary my dear how nice to see you do you want me to pray for you or bless your berries? Mother Theresa smiled gracefully at her looking into her basket.

"Oh no mother I came to pray " mary smiled back .

"Ok go ahead dear but whatever you do do not go into that room" mother Theresa said pointing to an inner room.

"Ok mother " she said looking curious. Mother Theresa walked out of the church living mary alone kneeling down at the alter praying . "Lord father let this food be nourishing bless us more let it satisfy in Jesus name " .

"Amen " a voice came from the inner chamber cutting mary's prayer .

" w..who's there?" Mary stammered

"Don't be afraid " the voice said softly sounding feminine now.

"Come in " the voice said again. Too curious and naive mary walked into the inner room.

A woman with scars all over her body her hair down scattered with chains on her hands and legs .

" my name is Bethel " the strange woman said .

" I am mary Lancaster why are you chained?" Mary asked.

"Isn't it obvious I'm the supposed witch " Bethel said making mary shift back in fear.

"I'm not supposed to be here" mary said stepping back.

"My dear you are at the right place " Bethel smiled.
