5 Years Later.

Since her 5th birthday revealed who she was, she could no longer remain hidden from the Devil Politics she had found to be a cluster fuck. She wanted nothing to do with it and made it clear by skipping significant events.

In the 5 years since then, she had built up a pretty bad reputation. For one, she had a big entrance into the Devil Political World and just as quickly retreated from it. At first, everyone thought she would default to become the next Gremory heir, but shockingly she refused that.

She had no interest in any of that or ruling the Gremory clan so she gave that up to Rias. Following that decision, she quickly built up another reputation as a violent girl with zero restraint on who she would hurt. During the birthday a certain Flaming Chicken went up to her to try to get her attention.

She ignored him the whole time until he grabbed her arm. That moment she punched him so hard that he flew across the room into the wall. It was lucky he was a Phenex member as anyone else would have had their skull shattered into sludge.

That was the first incident that caused both her grandparents and parents a headache. It was also not the last as almost every time they sent her to a gathering of some kind she ended up doing the same thing. She also did not restrain herself from children, some Devils who annoyed her got the same treatment.

After a while, they stopped sending her and after she stepped down as the Heir she got more freedom. Instead of staying with the clan, she went off to apprentice under Souji, Surtr Second, and MacGregor Mathers. Her father's Knight, Rook, and Bishop right not long after her 6th birthday.

As the peerage of Sirzechs moved all over the Underworld and did not stay together for long she was all over the place. She did not mind it at all as all three taught her what they knew without hesitation. For one she was their master's daughter and a genius.

Besides teaching her they also gave her plenty of battle experience as they constantly took her with them when they were sent on thier missions. That was the thing she so desperately needed and once she got that her War Dragon Essence began to grow stronger much faster.

Both she, and King had grown much stronger over the past 5 years and right now Amara was sitting on a stump. She wore a set of heavy knight armor with a giant two-handed greatsword on her shoulder. However, she designed both after her original gear so they looked similar. A tiny King sat on her lap as she looked across at the unique Underworld sky above.

The gear she wore was not her Desolation Gear and just a high-quality set of armor she got made. In comparison to her original gear, there was no comparison, but she had to make do. She looked next to her at Souji who was standing ahead of her and king a bit.

"Souji, why are we on the border of the Fallen and Devil territory?"

Souji turned to look at Amara who was currently wearing her unique armor. He wondered why she got into the two-handed greatsword and heavy armor. However, she was far from slow and she had picked up his God-Speed technique, but to a lesser degree.

She needed more time to perfect it, but she would get there. If given time he knew she would surpass him, but it would take her a bit longer. He was honestly proud of how far she had gone in just 5 years. Her growth was astronomical with how fast she and her pet grew.

"Because Azazel contacted us that a powerful deserter fled into our lands. He would send people after him, but on our side of the border, we got to deal with it. Your test today is to track him down and capture him. Alive and unharmed.

Amara reached up for her helmet and removed her. Her unique hair spilled out from her helmet and reached a little past her shoulder blades. The Silver and Crimson strands had spread a bit and now her hair looked very unique.

Her skin was the same as her mother, but her delicate facial features were ruined by the everlasting scowl on her face. Her silver eyes seemed to have darkened to a darker silver and her eyes were split down the middle like some dragon.

Plus she had grown like a tree as she was already 5'3 at 10. A good height for that age, but she had still not gone through puberty. A late bloomer he had to say as Devil girls were known to start filling out young.

"Alive and unhurt? You mean I can't fight him?"

Souji shook his head.

"I mean not crippled. We intend to return him and we rather have him in 1 piece. Not in multiple. You can break his bones, and leave him bruised, but not beyond healing."

She smacked her helmet hard as this was always the most annoying.

"Alright."

She put on her helmet as King jumped off her lap. From his tiny form, he began to enlarge and writhe as he grew to a size of over 4 meters tall and 12 meters long. Amara jumped on his head as a pair of membrane wings emerged from King's shoulders.

They had eyes and seemed to writhe like they were alive. Amara glanced at Souji who gave her a piece of news.

"You better hurry though, as tomorrow is your aunt's 6th birthday. The family wants you there as you missed all her other ones to be with us boring old geezers."

Amara looked down from King's back.

"It's not Rias I am avoiding. It's the politics. There are all sorts of people who still want to marry their sons. I may not be the Clan Heir, but they still want my lineage."

Souji nodded.

"I understand you, but she misses you. Your father and mother both do. You have not been home for the past 3 years."

Amara sighed.

"Fine, I will hurry. What level is this? What did Azazel say?"

"He has three sets of wings and is known for his skill at hiding in the wilderness. He stole something and Azazel wants us to return it. He said if we find it we can examine it, but to return it anyway. Can you find him before tomorrow? If you do, I will take you back on a trip to the Forbidden Regions."

He laughed as he saw that subtle twitch that showed her excitement. King took off at once when he heard that. The Forbidden Region was honestly paradise to the two of them despite it being fraught with danger. More fun that way.

Once they were gone Souji shook his head as Amara had changed. She still had trouble speaking in large groups, but when it came to battle she was the first one to dive into it. She was like a nuclear bomb that once it went off there was no stopping her.

At first glance, her fighting style was wild, barbaric, and seemed random, but he could see the skill behind him. She never gave her foes time to fight back as she crushed them under a flurry of heavy blows, physical and magical.

King was no better, once that dog got worked up into a frenzy he was just as wild as Amara. Together they were practically even worse as they worked off each other's wrath. He had seen them fight together and it was like they were one and not two.

He sat down on the stump and smiled. He felt bad for the Fallen, but he should not have come over to their side. Now he was training material for his student.

'Let's see how she deals with him?'

Once King rose high in the sky Amara spread out her sense into the forest. This forest was massive and the Fallen could be anywhere, but with how strong her mind was this was simple. She processed every bit of information she got with help from King whose mind was just as strong as hers.

He did the same as she did and spread out his sense over the forest overlapping with hers. With two minds on the job, they sifted through the endless sensory information they received. In a forest such as this, it could be expected.

As they did that in the depths of the forest a few leaves were ruffled. Both King and Amara's attention went in that direction as there was nothing visible to the naked eye. However, this Fallen could not have chosen a worse way to hide.

He used several spells to hide, his smell, his temperature, and his sound, but his magic was easy to spot. Once he was locked onto King let off this horrendous howl which attacked the mind of the Fallen causing his spells to break apart.

He held his head in pain, but that lapse of focus cost him. Above Amara formed a massive orb of ice magic which was crushed down into a tiny one. She did not have to raise her hands or lose focus as the magic shot toward the Fallen who had broken out of the attack on his mind.

When he looked up and saw that orb of ice he jumped back because he felt danger. He was right as when the orb hit the ground it exploded in a tidal wave of freezing cold. It froze the trees, ground, rocks, and even any monsters unlucky to be in the place solid.

The Fallen moved instantly, but he looked at his right leg encased in ice. He grit his teeth and smashed his foot on the ground freeing himself. He looked up and saw how King's 6 eyes locked onto him.

The Fallen felt pure disgust when he looked at King. His mind told him that thing should not be alive and was an abomination against life. More eyes appeared on King's legs, neck, and even on tentacles that emerged all to look at him.

He was distrusted, but he had to fight if he wanted to escape. He did not even know about Souji who was overlooking this whole thing. Amara glanced down at King.

'Attack.'

King howled once more and flew down toward the Fallen who created a light spear in his arms. King lept to the ground as his extra eyes, wings, and tentacles retracted. His Abyssal Flesh warped and thickened into thick plates of chitin. Thick corded muscle bulged under the skin as his Abyssal Tree Blessing got to work.

It was not yet complete, but it already began to generate enough Abyssal Energy for this. Amara lept into the air as King charged and came down from above. Mana Flooded her Mana pathways and her heart began to beat hard.

The simple act of combat began to cause her strength, and her wrath and rage skyrocket. Her aura surged, but she was perfectly in control. Like a black shooting star, she descended hard and swung down with her giant sword and clashed with Fallen's Light Spear.

Amara had been hard at work for the past 10 years refining her body with magic and it paid off now. However, this Fallen managed to match her strength and hold off her swing. However, she was not here to match him in strength which she could.

She covered her sword in Energy of Destruction which meant it would not last long. She destroyed his light spear and lept over him to get him from behind. In an instant the Fallen recreated a Light Spear and wanted to stab her while she was in the air.

She held her hand out and blasted him with an orb of Abyssal Dragon Fire which shocked him. The power of her flames was insane so the Fallen created a massive light field around him. His body was singed and the corrupting feeling of the Abyss was like poison.

If he let it fester in his body for too long he could devolve into an Abyss Spawn, but he did not know that.

"FUCK!"

He could feel the Abyss begin to swing through his body and knew he needed to purify himself fast. However, he could not focus on it as King arrived in front and he had Amara at back.

She raised her Energy of Destruction-covered sword and swung down destroying his light barrier. . King clentched his paw into a fist as muscle bulged. His claws shifted to come out of his knuckles as he punched out.

'NO!'

The Fallen jumped back to avoid them but from the ground countless barbed tentacles wrapped around his legs. The barbs stabbed into him and injected their potent corrupting venom. He yelled as he swung his spear down and destroyed them.

He went down to his knee and stabbed his spear into the ground creating a giant light barrier. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a shining crystal. He popped it into his mouth and crunched down on it.

He swallowed the shards and seemingly in an instant a bright flash of light emerged from the Fallen. His body was purified of the Abyss, his light magic felt stronger and he felt stronger. He grinned as he was glad he stole that crystal.

It was an experimental stimulant developed to give Fallen temporary strength. However, King did not stop because of that. His clawed fist clashed with the bright light shield the Fallen created and the blow was so strong his shining black claws pierced through.

"LOSE YOUR CLAWS!"

The Fallen raised his hand and caused the barrier to close around the claws cutting them off. If that hurt, King did not show it. His claws regenerated instantly and the 4 that were cut off were in with the Fallen.

They surged together shocking the Fallen. They turned into liquid and reformed into an Abyss spawn created by King. It was a faceless being with a mouth full of sharp needle teeth. Instead of hands, it had blades and spikes all over its body.

It screetched and charged at the Fallen causing him to place his hand on the ground.

'Damn it.'

A flash of light emerged from the shield causing the Abyss to spawn great pain. It was turned to dust. but the light in the crystal was not endless. Every move he used, used up its power. Outside Amara lept into the air and covered her sword in even more Energy of Destruction.

So much that the red from it vanished into a dark black. This would destroy her sword, but she did not need it. She raised her sword above her head and slashed the shield barrier wide open.

When it shattered the Fallen was left speechless as it would take a lot of power to do that. The Fallen grit his teeth as Amara threw the scrap metal of her sword to the ground. King tossed her something which she caught.

It was a black shinning blade formed out of his largest teeth. Once she had this large Abyssal sword she covered it in Abyssal Dragon Fire and charged side by side with King. The Fallen raised his hands to the sky as a storm of bright white light blades emerged.

"DIE!"

Neither one paid notice to the spears in the sky as Amara's mind weaved together a shield of her flames above them. When the light spears hit her shield they were devoured and burned up leaving the Fallen with only 10% of his crystals energy.

Amara appeared in front of him as she used the skill Souji had been drilling her with. God Speed. The Fallen could barely react when the flat of her blade slammed her his face tossing him toward King. The Abyssal raised his fist and slammed down crushing the Fallen into the dirt.

He made sure to not kill him, but when he raised his fist he saw the Fallen was buried in the soil. Amara removed her helmet as she looked at the Fallen in the ground.

"Did we kill him?"

King shook his head and snorted. How could he die that easily? He just gave him a love tap. Amara pulled the guy out of the dirt and placed her head against his chest. She sighed in relief when she heard a heartbeat.

"Good. He is alive."

She was about to grab him, but she noticed something. The Fallen's magical pathways were glowing as if pure light was flowing through them, however, they were beginning to steam and sizzle worrying her.

"Oh, you are not dying on me."

She placed her hand on his chest and used what she was taught by the Goddess of Light and Life. She began to drain the light magic that was killing him and absorbed it into her hand. This caused her own hand to begin to burn badly, but this was nothing.

Rapidly his pale face and burning Mana Pathways were fixed. Now Amara had a lot of Light Magic in her hand which was still burning.

"I got an idea."

She sat down and began to absorb it ever so slowly. Now, Amara was part Abyssal and Devil meaning Light was bad. However, she did not care and slowly absorbed the Light which hurt her body, and then healed herself.

She did this over and over until the Light was gone. When she opened her eyes she smiled.

"Building up a resistance to your greatest weakness is a good idea is it not?"

King nodded as he planned to do the same. Light Magic was annoying as it hurt him easier than most magic. Once she got done she picked up the Fallen and put him on her right shoulder. King jumped on the Fallen's body as she carried him to Souji.

She removed her helmet and carried it in her left hand. When Souji saw her he smiled.

"He alive?"

Amara nodded and looked at King who walked over to her left shoulder. Now he was as small as a chihuahua so she tossed the Fallen to the ground. When Souji saw him he picked him up.

"Come on, let's go turn him in. Tell me about how it went."

She began to recount her fight with him as they waited for the Fallen to get picked up. Souji gave her some advice and was happy with her progress. As promised he would take her to the Forbidden Region when he had time.
