The Beginning of the End

Above the destroyed city of Insomnia, two figures battle against each other. The Sky is dark, cloudy, and filled with the ashes of fire that consumes the city.

"Damn it!!!!!" Says one of the mysterious figures, "You've taken everything from me, my home, family, friends!!!!! I promise I'll kill you Giyu!!!!!" He shouts in anger

The other figure now known as Giyu begins laughing maniacally at the words. "If only you were stronger, then maybe your father wouldn't have perished" says Giyu in a sly voice.

The two continue their battle as each of them clash with their swords. Giyu swiftly dodges a slash from the other figure. "Oh come on, I know you can do better than that," says Giyu as he laughs at the other figure.

"Oh well it's been fun," Giyu says as he begins charging up one of his ultimate abilities. "Chaos Matter: Chaos Ball" says Giyu

"Goodbye...Slade Kyosho" says Giyu as he throws the enormous Red ball towards Slade

Slade begins to charge up his own ultimate attack against Giyu, "Light Matter: Big Bang," Shouts Slade. The two attacks clash and a huge explosion goes off.

Suddenly Kin wakes up from his dream.

Kin Noro, a 15 year old boy, is the middle child of the Noro family. He has a younger sister and two older twin siblings. His Family, the Noro family, is a very famous name in the world of battle. They possess one of the 8 primal matters, Dark Matter. Kin's mother Aiko, whose maiden name is Musashi. Has Gravity matter which is also one of the 8 primal matters. Although Kin was gifted the power of Dark Matter, it seems his body isn't able to control it which leads to Kin being unable to fully utilize it.

"What the hell was that?" Kin says as he sits up in his bed. He begins to stretch as he slowly gets out of bed.

As he gets out, he scratches his soft spiky white hair and begins heading towards the bathroom.

Once Kin enters the bathroom, he turns on the sink and washes his face, his green eyes shining as he looks at himself.

About 10 minutes later, Kin exits the bathroom wearing his school uniform with his black jacket on top.

Kin grabs his bag and makes his way downstairs. When he reaches the bottom of the stairs, a voice belonging to a young girl calls out to him.

"I'm surprised you got up on your own, I thought I was going to have to wake you up." Says the young girl

She has short black hair and bright purple eyes. She wears a black skirt with a white school uniform top.

"Shouldn't you be at school Yui?" Kin says as he walks over to her. "Also where's mom? Is she home?"

Yui stands up and punches Kin in the stomach, "Nah she left a bit ago and went to the flower shop. Also I start school late today." She says as she looks back at Kin with a cheeky smile.

As Yui begins walking out the living room, she is kicked in the back by Kin. She stumbles across the room and tries regaining her balance.

Yui turns around and lunges at Kin and the two begin tussling with each other.

A Few minutes later, a girl with long brown hair and bright red eyes knocks on the door. "Kin???? Are you ready?????" She calls out. She is able to hear the sound of 2 people fighting, so she opens the front door only to see the sight of Kin on the ground with Yui standing on top of him.

Yui looks up to see the girl. She smiles and steps off Kin and walks over to the girl. "Good Morning Tifa, my brother is all yours now." Yui says

She runs over to the door before yelling at Kin one more time, "MAKE SURE YOUR AT THE PARK ON TIME!!!"

Tifa chuckles as she walks over to Kin who is laying on the floor. "What a nice start to the day huh?" She says playfully, she crouches down and pokes him.

Tifa Nikko, daughter of the famous Hisashi Nikko who is a member of the Elite 10. She possesses cloud matter which she inherited from her father. She and Kin are best friends who have known each other since birth.

A few minutes later

Kin and Tifa now walk down the sidewalk as they make their way to school. Kin tries fixing his tie because of Yui's rough housing. Tifa just watches as Kin struggles to tie it.

Kin eventually gives up because he can't seem to fix it correctly, "Why did Yui mess it up, now I look dumb." He says as he looks down in defeat.

"Stop moving for a sec." Tifa grabs his tie, "Let me fix it." Small clouds come out her hand and begin reforming the tie back to its original shape.

Tifa pulls back and smiles, "All fixed!!" She says with a smile on her face.

Kin begins walking again and looks up at the bright blue sky, "Thanks"

The two continue walking and eventually reach the gates of their school. Kin sighs loudly and stretches, "I really hate being here, it's so boring and stupid and annoying and-" he's cut off by Tifa who puts her hand on his mouth.

"I get it Kin, you hate school." She says and releases her hand from his mouth. He rolls his eyes and walks through the gates.

Meanwhile

The Kingdom of Insomnia is one of the most influential and powerful nations in the entire world. This has to do with the many powerhouses who reside in the kingdom. The King possesses Light Matter which is also one of the 8 primal matters.

A dark skinned man in all white with blonde lengthy hair stands on top of a rooftop of the tallest building in Insomnia. The golden crown on his head shines brightly as the sun shines upon it.

He drinks a glass of wine as he gazes upon the kingdom. "You sure did take your time, Kensei." He says as he turns around and looks at a young man with long black hair, his eyes shine purple as he looks at the crowned man. Kensei wears an all black royal guard outfit.

"Me and Aiken had to help mom with her flower shop." Kensei states. He walks over next to the crowned man and gazes upon the kingdom.

"So? What did you want to discuss, Knox?" Kensei asks

Knox looks at the sun as it rises, "The man who killed your father…he's returned."

Kensei eyes widen at the words, his purple pupils become fierce as he hears the words of Knox.

Knox puts his hand filled with jewels on Kensei's shoulder, "I need you to set aside your anger for now and help me locate him, you're my right hand man after all."

Kensei takes a deep breath and begins to calm down. "Shall I round up the 10?"

Knox nods at his words. Kensei nods back and begins heading towards the stairwell of the roof.

The Elite 10 are the 10 people the King chose to be a royal squad of sorts. Most of the members of the Elite 10 are all childhood friends who grew up and fought alongside each other. This makes them one of the strongest groups on the planet. With only 2 groups being able to beat them.

A few hours later Back at Insomnia highschool

Kin twirls his pencil around his fingers as he sits in class. He begins yawning and lays his head down on the desk.

The Teacher of the class walks over to Kin and stands over his desk. "Young Noro!!!!" He says loudly

Kin jumps up startled and looks up at his Teacher. "Oh hey Tanaka Sensei."

Tanaka Bridget is a middle aged man with long black hair and shiny glasses. He wears a formal black suit with the number 3 on the side. He's very tall with a bit of muscle on him.He is Part of the Elite 10 similar to Hisashi Nikko. He is one of Kin's Sensei's and is a family friend.

"Young Noro, you do realize class ended 30 minutes ago" Tanaka says

Kin looks around the class to see nothing but empty desks. "THE CLASS WAS JUST FULL A SECOND AGO!!!!"

Tanaka sighs in disbelief as he palms his face. "That's 10 points off for you Kin, you're now in last place for the challenge."

"WHAT HOW!!!! JAKI SHOULD BE IN LAST NOT ME!!!" Kin shouts as he stands up abruptly

"Well Jaki hasn't been goofing off with school or training, he's actually 3rd place right now" Tanaka shows Kin a tablet with 8 other people his age. He sees his Name at the very bottom right under a boy named Elijah Winston.

"PLEASE TANAKA SENSEI!!! I CANNOT BE LAST PLACE!!! EVERYONE WILL CLOWN ME" Kin begins pleading to Tanaka

Tanaka smacks Kin on the head with a ruler, "You still have 3 months before the challenge is over Kin, better be on your best behavior."

Kin sighs loudly and grabs his belongings, "Alright whatever, I'll see ya later Sensei"

Kin leaves the classroom and begins making his way to the Castle of Insomnia.

Back in Tanaka's class, Tanaka sits in his chair as he looks at a photo of a group of 12 people, including him. They all are close and laughing together In the Photo.

His eyes wander and land on a man with spiky black hair and purple eyes.

"You know, he's just like you…if only you were here to see him grow up my dearest friend."

An Hour Later

Kin reaches The Castle of Insomnia with his gear on. He wears an all black royal garment with the number 9 on the back.

As he walks through the halls of the castle, he begins taking deep breaths as he approaches a huge door.

"Maybe they don't know, and if they don't then I won't say anything" Kin smiles nervously as he stands right in front of the door.

He takes one last deep breath before he pulls the door open.
