Rivals

The Young 9 are a group of 15 year olds who possess the ability to use matter. Each of them have their own mentor and are the students of the famous Elite 10. The Young Nine consist of Kin Noro, Tifa Nikko, Ski Nikko, Slade Kyosho, Elijah Winston, Jaki Pierce, Adrian Shinto, Mia Beck, and Eliza Redheart

Kin enters the room and as he peaks his head through the door he sees 8 other people sitting around talking to each other.

A girl who looks identical to Tifa except with long brown hair and blue eyes, yells out to Kin "KIN!!!! IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU MADE IT!!!!"

"You don't need to be so loud Ski, you act like I'm late." Kin walks over to the group of 8 and sits down on a red beanbag.

"Well you kinda are by 10 minutes" Tifa says as she leans down and places her head next to his.

Kin checks his phone and sees he is indeed late by 10 minutes. "OH COME ON!!!! THAT'S ANOTHER 10 POINTS GONE!!!!" He yells

A boy with short brown hair and brown eyes begins chuckling. "What do you mean another 10 Kin? Wait, are you in last place????" The Brown hair boy says as he begins getting excited.

Kin scoffs, "Of course not in last, it's obviously Elijah who's in last" he points over to a tall and muscular guy with long and spiky blue hair. Aside from his appearance he's only 15 years old.

"Don't you dare point at me, we both know you're in last right now" Elijah chuckles as he pulls up a hologram of the scoring system.

Elijah and Kin sit at the very bottom with Elijah having 200 points and Kin having 180.

At the very top of the system, A girl with long beautiful red hair, named Eliza Redheart has 2000 points with the prince of Insomnia Slade Kyosho having 1900.

Jaki and Elijah begin laughing at Kin for his score. "So much for being the most responsible out of us" Jaki says

As the two laugh at Kin, the prince Slade Kyosho stands up from his seat.

He wears an all white and gold royal outfit, his hair is blonde and is short and curly. His eyes are brown and bright.

"Now that we are all here, I guess we can begin training." Slade snaps his fingers and a yellow aura surrounds everyone.

And within an instant, everyone is transported into an arena. The 9 of them all stand in their respective corners.

Kin begins stretching as he gets ready to train. "Hey Jaki!!!" He yells out, "Get ready to get your ass kicked!!!"

Jaki chuckles at Kin's statement, suddenly a cold mist begins to surround Jaki. "Don't get too cocky, Kin…." His hair begins to turn light blue and his eyes turn ice white. "I'm gonna freeze that pride of yours."

Ice begins to form all over Jaki's body as the air around him gets colder. "Ice Matter: Frost Armor"

Kin smiles widely, purple electricity sparks around him as he walks towards Jaki, "Bring it then...Jaki!!! Dark Matter: Full Power."

Matters for the Young 9.

-Kin Noro: Dark Matter

-Eliza Redheart: Valkyrie Matter

-Jaki Pierce: Ice Matter

-Mia Beck: Water Matter

-Elijah Winston: Beast Matter

-Tifa and Ski Nikko: Cloud Matter

-Adrian Shinto: Earth Matter

Meanwhile in a village far away

Villagers hide within their homes as the sound of screams ring throughout the small town. Blood splattered on the buildings and streets, bodies everywhere.

A man with long black hair walks through the streets. His black robe covered in fresh blood. His eyes glow red, he smirks widely as he takes a look at the massacre he's created.

The Man smirks and wipes the blood off his cheek. The Village chief crawls slowly away from the man. Tears stream down his eyes and blood pours from his back.

The robed man walks slowly towards him and laughs. "You know, I never understood how you humans can be so damn stubborn. Just tell me where the Excalibur is and I'll spare your life." The robed man stomps on the chief's leg.

The Chief screams in pain. "You….You really think I'd tell you!!!! Go To Hell!!!!" The Chief yells

The robed man just stands there and laughs. "Trust me, there is no Hell!!! So you better hope you lived a good life, because they won't show mercy against those who did wrong."

The Robed man begins beating on and stomping on the Chief. The Chief groans in pain and coughs up blood.

Suddenly a hooded black figure appears behind the Robed Man. His long black hair is hidden by the hood. "Did you manage to get any info out of them?" He asks the robed man

"Nah, but that's okay…I don't mind blowing this village to pieces." He says as he stands over the Chief and puts his hand out towards him.

"Chaos Matter: True Destruction!!!" The Robes man shouts and a red and purple ball appears out his palm and blasts at the chief.

Back in Insomnia Kingdom

Kin and Jaki lay on the arena floor as they caught their breaths. Each of them huffs heavily as sweat drops from their body's.

"Hey Kin, it looks like I won that." Jaki says with a smirk on his face.

Kin laughs and points over to the crater in the arena floor. "You got lucky I still can't control my dark matter."

After Kin tried using his full dark matter, his body quickly rejected it and caused a huge crater in the arena floor.

Tifa walks over to the two and crouches down next to them. Although she has a calm look on her face with a smile, the anger seeps off of her as she looks at Kin.

"Now, what happened to not destroying the arena guys???" Her smile gets more and more sinister. Kin and Jaki both look over at each other before running off into the distance.

"DON'T RUN FROM ME YOU IDIOTS!!!" She yells

Elijah and Slade sit in the bleachers and laugh. "Good thing you're the prince, those two would be in so much debt." Elijah says with a laugh

Slade sighs loudly, "Sometimes I wonder if you guys purposely destroy stuff."

The Red Haired girl Eliza sits down next to Elijah and Slade. "You act as if none of our parents could afford the damages" she says, "Beside all that how is your mom feeling?"

Slade scratches his head, "She's getting better, Irene said it was just a small virus in her Matter system."

Eliza nods her head, "Well that's good to hear, my mom really took treating her seriously. I have never seen my mom so desperate to cure someone."

"It's probably because she doesn't want a repeat of what happened with Kin's dad, you know how close her and his dad were." Slade says

Kin somehow and magically jumps up to the bleachers from the arena floor. "Did someone say my name?" He asks with a puzzled look on his face.

Eliza, Slade and Elijah all have a face of disbelief, "Why does he have such good hearing" they all think to themselves in unison.

The rest of the group eventually come over to where they are sitting. Ski sits very closely to Slade with her arm entwined with his.

Mia sits on the ledge of the wall, while Adrian stands up against it.

Tifa however sits close to Kin but still keeps a good distance.

"So what should we do now? We could visit Julia!!" Ski suggests while she sways back and forth next to Slade.

"Sounds good to me" Jaki says, the rest of the group agrees and begins making their way out the castle.

The group walks along the sidewalk while they talk and laugh together.

Kin walks behind Elijah and begins to get annoyed, "HEY YOU DAMN BRUTE, WALK FASTER WOULD YA!!!!" He yells

Elijah turns around, "Huh? Who are you calling a Brute!!??"

"You're the only brute here, seriously does your beast matter really have to make you so big!!!??" Kin says insultingly

The two stare each other down and are about to fight. "You two seriously need to stop fighting" Adrian says with a calm expression

Kin feels his phone buzzing in his pocket and grabs it. "Oh shoot, hey guys I have to be somewhere…I'll see ya guys later!!!!" He instantly runs off at speeds unimaginable.

"What just happened???" Everyone thinks

Nearby at the Insomnia National Park

Yui sits on a bench with her phone out, "Jeez where are you dummy!!" She says angrily as she continues texting Kin.

"I'm sure he'll be here any sec YuYu" A young woman with long black hair says, wearing a black and purple jacket with the number 8 on the back.

She walks up to Yui and looks down at her. Both their purple eyes reflect between each other.

"I guess you're right Aiken…but he was supposed to be here 20 minutes ago!!" Yui says

Aiken sits down next to Yui and rubs her back. She smiles at Yui, "Well let's hope he gets here before Mom and Kensei comes back."

"I'm already back." Kensei says

He leans against the tree behind the bench. "I seriously have to teach him to start paying more attention to the time."

Aiken walks over to Kensei and pokes at his cheek, "What's with you being a creep and hiding in the shadows. Pervert"

"I AM NOT A CREEP OR PERVERT!!!" Kensei yells loudly with a blush of embarrassment on his face.

Yui begins trying to call Kin but is just left on voicemail. "WHY ISN'T HE ANSWERING THE PHONE!!!"

As the three siblings continue waiting for Kin. A soothing and calming woman's voice calls out to them.

"No need to be mad Yui and Kensei, I'm sure he has his reasons for not being on time." The woman says, her beautiful long luscious white hair flows through the air and her emerald eyes shine brightly.

Her beautiful white garment reveals her beautiful body that lays beneath.

"But he keeps being late Mom…it's as if he doesn't care." Yui says

"Trust me Yui, your brother wouldn't purposefully miss out on this, you know how much he cares." Aiko says

A few minutes later

Kin dashes through the park searching for his family. As he runs, he spots them across a pond and runs around it.

As he gets close, he feels something trips him and he tumbles over to them.

He lays face first on the ground as he groans in pain.

"It's about time you showed up, idiot!!!" Yui says

Kensei walks over to Kin and picks him up by his hoodie.

"You seriously need to stop being late, I thought mom taught us to be early." He says

Kin pushes Kensei's arm away and stands up. "Well it's not my fault, I just got caught up in training and hanging out with everyone."

Kensei is about to say something but is cut off by Aiken.

"Oh, were you hanging out with Tifa or Erza!!" Aiken teasingly nudges Kin, "You need to choose one of them already so we can get your wedding ready!!!"

"SHUT UP AIKEN!!!" Kin lightly slaps her on the head, "Let's just get going already, I don't wanna hear your delusional thoughts anymore." He says
