I was speechless by his statements and was not able to react for a while. Silvan, however, was content with my silence and he merely ran his fingers down my hair.

In fact, our position was very intimate. I was sitting on his lap while my whole body was leaning towards Silvan. Both of his arms were around me. I felt my face start to heat up upon this realization.

/"You are... very kind to me,/" I softly told him as I enjoyed the warmth that his body was giving me.

/"If I'm not good to you, then who else will?/" Silvan whispered. His tone was low and lazy. It gave me some sort of reassurance and relaxation.

'Who will be good to me... if not for them?' I thought to myself as

/"My family... and my friend,/" I answered his question with much seriousness.

Silvan was quiet for a couple of seconds before he cupped my chin with his fingers and stated, /"Then, do you know what I am to you?/"
