Callista rose to her feet with lightning speed.
Concealing a smile, the princess did the same.
"It is about time we return to the cabin. We have amassed a sufficient quantity of herbs to tend the man's wounds. I can even make a potion with some of them." Serenity gracefully retraced her steps back to the cabin. Callista seamlessly fell into steps beside her.
Save for the sound of midnight insects and the howling at the far distance, the rustle of twigs and leaves crunching beneath their feet were the only noise they could hear.
Callista could no longer tolerate the silence and spoke, "Princess Serenity, now that you've successfully escaped the grand palace, may I know your plans? "Where do you intend to go next?"
"I don't have anything planned at the moment," She confessed, wide-eyed.
"You left without a plan!"
Callista was horrified.
"Uh-huh."
"Are you out of your mind!"
"I never claimed I was sane."
