Intresting turn of events

"... So, are you going to answer my question?" Isaac asked again as he sat criss-crossed on the table he had just woke up from.

The two people who were on the floor below him both gulped and looked at each other. The woman was on the left and had full grey hair, although she didn't look a day over 30. She wore heavy clothes that covered her from head to toe and was almost as pale as Isaac himself.

The man was on the right with whiter hair, and he actually looked older- could be 70 or above. He had on a homemade cape and a wizard's hat that didn't seem to be in the best shape. He also wore glasses, and even though both of them looked human to the untrained eye, there were many things Isaac was noticing.

Like the mini slits under their chins and their eyes moving in ways they humanly shouldn't. Their skin looked different, too, and probably felt different as well. Overall, Isaac could tell he was not with his type of human anymore, and, further inspecting the place, he observed all the weird torture tools on the wall.

'Is he a doctor?' Isaac scratched his head and leaned back with a sigh. 'So the things Amir talked about were real... I am in another dimension with other forms of humans?'

Amir was someone he had met in the hospital. The last survivor of a mass suicide that a cult committed. One that believed there were other dimensions to which they could be sent after death.

'But it seems they summoned me. So they did all that for nothing.'

"Ummmm... Hello earth.. ling? My name is Taniueth, and this is my husband Taniuethes." The woman spoke. "You can just call us Tani and Thes though.... since you earth humans are...."

They spoke in a language that wasn't English or any other language on earth; or at least ones that Isaac knew of. It was a completely different language, but he could understand it and even communicate well.

"Ah! Nice to meet you!" Isaac spoke with a wide smile that charmed them. "My name is Isaac Denariyan!"

No matter the situation, Isaac was confident he could charm his way through. He has studied for years on how to be the most welcoming towards others, after all.

Now that he had some understanding of his surroundings, he got down from the table and onto the floor. Just as he jumped down, his legs wobbled, and he felt almost like an arrow had hit him straight in the temple. He immediately crumbled to his knees while grabbing his right eye, which felt like it was about to pop out.

"Oh, I forgot! Tani, go grab the mixture!" The man got up from where he was sitting in silence to run to Isaac.

He sat him up and propped him on the table. Tani sprinted back with a small glass bottle filled with a purple liquid that was covered with a thick green leaf. Thes popped it off the opening and put it up to Isaac's now blue lips. He slanted the glass so only a little fell into the boy's mouth before pulling it away and closing the bottle again.

Isaac regained a bit of his control back as he looked at the two standing over him.

'What the hell was that? Is it because my body is not built for this dimension?'

"You humans from dimension 001 are weaker and therefore can't handle our environment at all." Thes spoke worriedly. "I was supposed to include your physical adaption in the summoning, but we couldn't find phoenix scales fast enough..." He mumbled to himself.

"... But I seriously can't afford to summon another on such short notice, so please don't die!"

"This is all because you wanted to fulfill your long gone dream of being a wizard! We could've just gotten a professional!" Tani spoke as she pinched her husband's cheek.

Isaac sat up and moved his hair out of the way before standing up and doing a couple of jumps. 'Phoenix scales. Noted.' Isaac thought to himself.

"Oh! I am completely fine now!"

The two strangers took a deep sigh of relief.

"That's great! So now let's explain to you your mission." Tani spoke.

"Mission?" Isaac raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. We summoned you here because we need you to represent two people in the upcoming trials for the murders of the 5 elites." Tani continued as Isaac walked around, touching all the bottles and swirling around the liquids. Thes was close behind him to make sure he broke nothing.

"5 of the top elites in our continent have been killed in the last year, and their trials are being held this afternoon. Two bishops representing the church of divine path, the pope of church Ra, the kingdom's treasurer and his only remaining family, his daughter. They were brutally murdered and the Red Queen's articles state that when an elites death occurs, their immediate family must make a summon from the other dimension to judge it. This is to keep things fair and just..." Tani watched as Isaac climbed onto a cabinet to grab a book.

"Are you even listening?!"

"I am." Isaac replied. "So, who is it I need to represent?"

He opened the book, and the first page was a full colored picture of a woman in a suite of armor with blood splattering all over her. She sat on a throne of bones and swords as she looked down with dark eyes. She was most likely dead in the picture but left quite a scene around her.

'Is this the red queen they speak of?' Isaac tilted his head.

*SLAM!*

Thes noticed Isaac looking at the picture of their shameful history and immediately slammed the book shut. The boy scrunched his nose before throwing the book off to the side and walking over to Tina.

"That would be Sinus and his daughter, Yun. They were both the only people left of their family, so we summoned you for them as they were valued members of this humble village." She walked over to the door and opened it. "Wanna have a walk before the guards are here to escort you?"

Isaac looked outside and had to make his choice.

'I mean, what other option do I have? Running away and exploring? I first need to learn more about my condition and the world... The phoenix scales they speak of.' He scratched his head. 'I'll go along with it until I have a sure way of keeping myself alive. Then I'll run away.'

He took a step forward towards the door.

'This could also prove interesting.'
