Akio the God of Protection

With that Akio would wait for Hajime to give the signal that he had finished and would simply try to improve the mental state of the children before uniting them with their families.

(4 days later…)

It had been 4 days with the dimension following the same speed as that of Tortus.

During this week not much had happened besides rehabilitating the children. Currently, Akio was in the living room with his lovers and the children.

*Giggle* "Onii-chan come play with us." The one who spoke was a Tiger beast-men named Lucy. During this time the children had finally come out of their shells and when Akio told them he would take them home they were ecstatic and started calling him Onii-chan.

"Sure, all of you go hide I'll count."

Akio agreed and started playing with the little ones to the amusement of his girls who were sitting on the couches.

Akio got up to find the children despite already knowing where they were. The first one he found was an emerald green-haired Dagon.

"Hmph, not fair papa." Akio is already familiar with Myu looking up to him as a father. It started when the other children started referring to Akio as Onii-chan to which Myu got jealous and took it one step further referring to him as her father.

Akio patted Myu's head before going off to 'search' for the rest of the children.

This was all observed by Akio's lovers as they soon had the desire to have a child of their own. They had even asked Myu to call them mother but it was quickly rejected as Myu explained she already had a mother but her father died leaving an open space for Akio to take.

Around an hour later after the game's died down Akio with an apron on was for once cooking for his lovers and the children.

His lovers were sitting at the table watching this as if charmed.

Tio, Shea, and Miledi also watched him the latter two having some amount of feeling forward him while the former was having perverted fantasies, as usual, her face was that of an irredeemable pervert.

Seeing the expression unfit for a family lunch Akio threw a spoon with a little force at Tio's head knocking her out of her chair as she rolled around in bliss. "Oh, master, thank you for such violent treatment."

"Aye, you perverted dragon there are kids around act proper." Akio scolded the dragon without even turning around to look at her.

"Yue-Oneechan why's Tio-oneechan rolling on the floor," Lucy asked the disgusted Yue.

"Don't look, I'd hate for you to catch whatever the hell she has." Yue turned Lucy's head away from the scene.

While this was happening Akio received the signal for Hajime letting them know that he had finished conquering the labyrinth.

"I'll make a portal stay where you are," Akio responded before making a portal to this dimension.

Taking notice of the still rolling Tio, he opened another portal leading to the place he put the dragons before using wind magic to push her in.

When she was gone, everyone including the children stared at him blankly.

"I think you're enjoying this too much." Aurora sighed knowing Akio was enjoying bullying the perverted dragon.

Akio just shrugged before looking at the portal. Soon a person with white hair and a metal arm walked through followed by a woman with chestnut hair and brown eyes.

"Sup Hajime, Sonobe." Akio was the first to speak, already considering Hajime a friend.

"Hey, Akio."

"Hello, Izumi."

The two greeted him before doing the same with everyone else in the room.

"We're going to drop off these little ones at their home before going to the next labyrinth. What is your plan?" Akio spoke while still in the process of cooking.

"I think we will wait for a while we're pretty tired of fighting," Hajime replied with a sigh as if he was drained.

"Great want to stay for lunch." Akio offered to which Hajime and Yuka accepted. When they finished Hajime and Yuka left for their dimension.

When that was done Akio called all the kids before telling them they were going home now. When everyone was ready he opened a portal to the last place the Haulia were.

When he stepped through he was greeted by the sight of dead bodies everywhere. None of the bodies were those of Haulia instead they were bodies of humans.

Looking up Akio saw the Haulia had made their settlement. "Cover the kid's eyes as you walk." Following his directions, the girls covered the eyes of the children before guiding them into the settlement.

When Akio was spotted someone shouted out.

"Our Lord has returned."

After a rabbit-man shouted that every person who heard it gathered at the entrance and began bowing down.

'That's more than the last time.' Akio took notice that there were more rabbit-man among the group than there was last time. It seemed like the group had more than quadrupled.

Looking into his divinity Akio could also see that his divinity had also increased proportionally to the number of people.

While the girls were looking around in a daze at the scene Akio only sighed before looking at the man at the head of the group. "Cam, come here."

"Yes, my Lord," Cam replied immediately before standing and making his way to Akio.

"Explain," Akio spoke only one word and that's all Cam needed to understand.

"We have spread the greatness of my lord to other rabbit-man and took them under our wing," Cam spoke as if it was obvious.

Akio stood in silence before speaking, "Good," Akio had no reason to dislike the addition of members or the spread of his new religion as it only gave him benefits.

Cam smiled at the praise of his lord, "Your praise is wasted on me."

"Another question, why are there bodies outside your settlement."

"Ahh, you see we were attacked by slave traders trying to enslave more of our people, ah this reminds me, my lord, we were planning on launching an attack on the Hoelscher Empire to take back our people."

Cam spoke before switching to a different topic.

Akio sat in thought before turning around and looking at Shea.

Shea had heard loud and clear what Cam had said. She quickly walked up to Cam, "Dad, wait that's dangerous." As much as Shea knew her tribe had grown in strength she was still worried for the safety of her family.

Akio spoke before Cam got a chance to, "Let them, they know the risk and are willing to go through with it anyway, plus they are strong enough to do it."

Shea who was being coaxed still tried to refute "but-".

"Hmm, if you're that worried then do you want to help." Akio was in no rush to complete the labyrinth and could take a detour if needed.

Shea didn't respond and just sank herself into his chest.

While patting her head Akio spoke, "For now I want to ill return these children and we will discuss this later."

Akio had an idea as to how to return the children as well as gain more followers. With a smile, he flew up in the sky looking from above with his enhanced vision for the location of Verbergan. When he spotted it he went back down to the ground before calling over the children.

"It's time to go home." With those words, Akio made a portal to the center of Verbergan.

In the nation of Verbergen in the center of it where many people were passing by many brilliant golden lights descended from the sky. Everyone's attention was immediately drawn to the odd scene as practically the whole population of Verbergen was staring in amazement. After about 30 seconds, out of the lights, many children with animal traits started to come out. Immediately some of the adults in the group recognized the kids and immediately went up to them and hugged them tightly.

This continued for a while before all the children had successfully been reunited with their families. When that happened the lights that seemingly brung them retreated to the sky.

Soon a golden portal opened up in the middle of the air where the lights were previously. Out of the portal a man walked out, the man who seemed like he was the pinnacle of charm had white hair and yellow eyes. He was dressed in white majestic robes that seemingly highlighted his already God-like figure. Around him was a golden aura, and from the man was a pressure that pulsated through the entire nation as if the being in front of them was a true honest to God, God.

The man in a majestic tone spoke, his voice reaching all across the nation.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am known as the God of protection, I have come to this world after seeing the atrocities of the fake God Ehit. I am here to tell you that no longer will you suffer from discrimination or be treated as lesser beings. I will get rid of this fake God named Ehit and defend this land from anyone who dares to do it harm. As a sign of my sincerity, I have brought back some of the children who have been kidnapped."

Already everyone in the nation was on their knees in tears at the words of the voice. They should be unbelieving of his words but something about him denied all feelings of untrust. Just when they thought it was over the voice spoke again.

"I will speak to you again if the situation calls for it, until then children live happily knowing that in the future your suffering will be no more." With those words, the man disappeared back into the portal and all returned as if nothing happened, except the still kneeling beast-man who were looking at the place the man was before in awe.
