Chapter 7: Black Cat and Slime Monsters

A/N: I have edited the chapter from yesterday, make sure to check it out. Only a few changes to the part with Ronan and Hart and the part where Morgan flips Sable. I'd like to point out that Sable was just doing it for the money, not because she was mind-controlled or anything.

///Felicia's POV///

'I'm so angry, I can't believe that Morgan ran off just to go make out with some random women. I need to do something to let off some steam.'

I turn and see a outfit my father gave me to use if I ever wanted to, "continue the family business."

'I know the perfect way to release this anger now.'

///Morgan's POV///

I'd just sent off Sable to go bring me back whoever hired her to take me out, but I have a feeling I already know who did it. I always knew I'd have to deal with the lab that gave me my powers, so I have a plan

If and when they send my fellow test subjects at me, I'll attempt to turn TS-40 over to my side. TS-51 will be a problem though, I'll definitely going to have to fight him.

"Alfred, initiate plan, "Catch the Dragonfly." Also, track Sable, make sure she gets killed. I don't want to be paying her 30 million."

Catch the Dragonfly is mainly made up of Alfred hacking into all the cameras in New York City and using facial recognition to find TS-51 and TS-40. When Alfred finds them, I'm going to approach them and offer a choice to them. Join me, or die.

As I'm thinking through how I should approach them and what I should bring, Alfred speaks.

"Sir, there is something extremely suspicious happening near Visions Academy, it looks like your description of the first version of Super Power Serums."

When they first tested the failed version of the serum, they gave it to the first ten test subjects. The other test subjects watched as those ten unfortunate people slowly turned into ooze.

I'd given Alfred a description of what the process was so he could keep a lookout for anything matching the description.

"Show me the footage."

I see two slimes oozing out a door frame as random sparks and body parts keep coming out of the slime, but then disappearing and turning into more slime.

"Who entered that room?"

The footage goes back to Sable leaving the room with door open slightly and then fast forwards to Ronan and Hart entering the room.

'Dammit, I'll have to deal with that before I can continue with the plan.'

"Alfred, keep on searching for the other test subjects, if you find them, track them. I have to deal with those to idiots."

I rush to the coordinates that Alfred is giving me and eventually find the pair of slimes at around 9 PM. The moment they see me they become hostile and try to swallow me up in their slime.

I dodge and curse myself for not thinking of what I should do when I actually attack them. Then, the slimes start coming together and start forming a body. It forms a mouth and starts talking.

"This is all your fault, we would't be like this if you didn't force us to be your slave." The slime says with the mixed voices of both Ronan and Hart.

As it gets angrier, more sparks start flying from its body. After it finishes talking, it releases a huge volt of electricity at me. I roll out of the way when suddenly it jumps on to me and starts forcing slime down my throat. I struggle to breathe and start seeing black dots while the slime laughs madly.

"THIS IS FOR TURNING US INTO MONSTERS!" It screams.

I feeling my conscience slowly leaving me when I remember that I haven't even made it to the formation of the Avengers.'

So, with the undying fan spirit inside of me egging me on, I release a huge explosion of shadows. The slime monster flies off of me and I empty out my stomach in a series of vomits. After all the slime left my body, I stand up, ready to beat that slime up.

"Alfred, call Tony. I'll need some help cleaning this mess up."

"Yes sir."

With that out of the way, I turn my attention back to the slime. I send a rain a shadow bullets at it, making it retreat slightly but causing little to no damage. I charge up and deliver a few punches at it before retreating. All my super strength punches only separated some slime from the body of the monster.

I sigh.

'This is going to be annoying.'

///30 Minutes Later///

I had whittled about 25% percent of the monsters slime away. It was then that Tony decided to show up.

"Alfred told me you weren't in a dire situation, so I took my time. Do you need this thing gone?" He asks me.

"Yes, but you'll find it easier said than-"

He blasts the beast a couple of times before releasing a chest laser at it. I look for the monster and find that it was gone, probably destroyed by Tony.

"What were you saying again?" He gloats at me.

I glare at him before responding.

"Someone sent a mercenary after me, probably from the lab. I was looking for their other experiments when this sucker showed up."

"Aren't you an accomplished superhero now. Mind you, Pepper won't allow it, but I'm proud of your willingness to fight this monster. Too bad you had to let your awesome, REAL superhero dad take care of it for you."

"Whatever old man, I'm going to head back to Visions, so you can take care of this mess."

Before he can make me cleanup, I run away as fast as my superhuman body can take me. The slime monster had gone a little bit away from Visions, so I decided to go onto a rooftop to enjoy the view as I leisurely stroll back to the academy.

A little while later, I notice a black clad figure escape onto the roof. When the figure stands up, I notice that it's Black Cat, aka Felicia Hardy, my classmate. Before I can hide, she sees me.

Currently I'm wearing my signature fur coat with long black pants, I only have on glasses. Somehow, it seems as if Felicia doesn't recognize me, so I decide to play around a bit.

"You know its not right to steal things?" I ask while walking to her.

"What do you know?" She answers aggressively, adjusting herself into a defensive position.

Suddenly I burst forward and steal her bag full stolen jewels.

"Looks like you got quite a haul. Mind if I give these back?"

"Give those back, or you'll regret it."

"Oh really now."

She jumps forward and unsheathes her retractable claws. As she slashes, I flip over her.

"Now that's a bad kitty cat."

She lunges at me again and this time I grab her slashing arm and throw her behind me, As she stumbles I grab a rock and replace the jewels in the bag with the rock.

When she turns, ready to attack again, I throw back the bag.

"I'm too tired to play games with you, so you can have it back."

I smirk as I run off in the direction of the store Black Cat robbed with the jewels in hand.

///Somewhere Else///

"Where's the boy?" Silver Sable asked the girl in front of her.

She'd painstakingly set up a meeting with them both without raising suspicion, and now there's only one of them in front of her.

"He's busy." The girl replies.

"I'm busy too, so you tell him that he better show up next time or the deals off." Sable angrily says as she turns back to the door, about leave.

"I'm afraid the deal was off the second you betrayed us."

Sable freezes, then quickly turns around with a pistol unholstered.

"How'd you know? You know what, it doesn't matter. Just DIE!"

Sable pulls the trigger on the gun, but nothing happens. She looks down at the gun and sees the hammer is frozen in place.

"Who do you think I am? Some weakling you can simply kill with a gun." The girl asks with a angry glare.

Suddenly, 20 ice spears form around Sable's body. They all plunge into her at the same time, instantly killing Silver Sable.

The girl takes out a phone and calls someone.

"Yeah, it's done."
