The Lowly Disciple

In the vast and mysterious world of Murim, sects and martial artists thrived, seeking power and the ultimate pinnacle of martial arts. Deep within the mountains, shrouded by clouds and mist, lay the secluded Green Pine Sect. Known for its rigorous training and selection process, the sect produced some of the most skilled and powerful martial artists in the realm.

Yun Feng, a young boy of fifteen, was the son of a servant within the Green Pine Sect. Having grown up watching the sect's disciples train and spar, he harbored a secret dream of joining their ranks and becoming a formidable martial artist. However, his weak physique and lowly status made the prospect of achieving his dream seem like an insurmountable challenge.

Despite the odds stacked against him, Yun Feng never gave up on his dream. He spent every spare moment he had practicing martial arts, even going so far as to sneak into the sect's library at night to study their secret techniques. His perseverance paid off when, by a stroke of luck, he managed to save the life of an elder during a dangerous mission. In return, the elder allowed Yun Feng to participate in the sect's selection process.

The selection process was brutal, with numerous talented individuals vying for the limited spots available as trial disciples. Yun Feng's weak physique and lack of formal training meant that he was constantly ridiculed and bullied by his peers. Yet, he persevered, using his tenacity and determination to push through the pain and humiliation.

To the surprise of many, Yun Feng managed to pass the selection process and become a trial disciple. However, his struggles were far from over. As a trial disciple, Yun Feng was subjected to even harsher training and ridicule from his fellow disciples. He was often assigned the most menial tasks and given the least amount of resources to aid his cultivation.

One fateful day, after a particularly severe beating at the hands of his peers, Yun Feng stumbled upon a hidden cave while seeking refuge. The cave was located deep within the mountains, far from the prying eyes of the sect's disciples and elders. Intrigued, Yun Feng ventured inside, hoping to find a safe place to nurse his wounds and rest.

As he explored the cave, he discovered that it was filled with ancient inscriptions and markings, hinting at a long-lost martial arts technique. At the heart of the cave, he found a jade pendant, seemingly ancient and covered in dust. As he reached out to touch it, the jade pendant suddenly emitted a blinding light that enveloped Yun Feng, searing his very soul.

When the light finally subsided, Yun Feng found himself changed. He could feel an incredible power coursing through his veins, as if he had been granted a second chance at life. Little did he know that he had stumbled upon the legendary Jade Scripture, a cheat system that would change his fate forever.
