"Where did you go?" Anais ran through the streets. The pouring rain flooded the streets, up to his ankles.
Anais plowed through the water, slowly increasing up to his shins. The current was pulling him backwards.
The rain started getting heavier and heavier. Anais was approaching the gate to the city. It was built of a rusty iron that stood 20 foot tall and had wide long brick walls completely gating the whole city.
The strong winds pushed Anais back, yet it didn't fully stop him. He pushed through and entered the cemetery. He ran past the main building, into the graveyard. Hundreds of tombstones lined back to back with another.
Anais stopped dead in his tracks. In front of him was a tombstone.
'Elly Maer.'
The year on the tombstone was heavily damaged and covered in moss.
