Nana

"Sir. Sir." A young Nana tugged at a soldier's pants, punching his camo pants. He was situated on the side of the road with a gun in his hand, a helmet and an orb tied around his waist.

"Are you lost?" The soldier looked down at Nana, she was crying and her cheeks were red. She had been crying for a long time. "Where are your parents?" He bent down with a smile on his face as he placed his hand on Nana's head, giving her a pat.

Nana takes a big breath and sniffed, wiping the snot away from her nose. "I ran away."

"You ran away?" The soldier seemed confused. He looked around, the deserted town had no sign of life anywhere. Besides him and his unit, he was told that everyone in the vicinity had evacuated. "Weren't your parents evacuated?"

"No." Nana wiped the snot on her dress. "I want papa." Her eyes started tearing up again, her nose became more congested.
