Council

Jasper grabbed Nana's hand, pulling her out of the debris. "Help me get Lin out of here." Nana shook off the debris off her shoulders.

"Not so fast." Mika snapped her fingers and swapped positions with Jasper. Mika punched Nana into the debris. Mika kicked her deeper into the debris, "Burial!" Mika clapped her hands as debris poured in to fill the hole Nana bad made, burying her.

"Don't forget about us!" Lin stabbed Mika in the back with a piece of rock, "Let there be nature!" The rock embedded into Mika's back exploded, sending shards of rocks through her body, "Let there be repellent!" Lin put his hand on Mika's back, forcing the shards of rocks out of her body.

"Agh!" Mika called out in pain, snapping her fingers and moving away, "And to think, a mere human could master advanced magnetic magic. You're not half bad." Mika pulled out the orb of revelation from her pocket, "The orb Nana took was an artificial wretched orb of revelation, which turns you into a Dicere. This, however, is a regular orb of revelation, using this could result in a fifty fifty percent chance of you becoming a Dicere. Do you want it?" Mika's wounds started to heal.

"As if I'd ever become someone as filthy as you." Lin cracked his neck, "Next time, I'll aim for your heart."

Mika appeared instantly infront of Lin, kicking him into the large mound of debris, "Guess you'll have to die." Lin blocked the attack, "Black Hole!" Mika clenched her hands, all the debris and material inside the black sphere gravitated towards the middle, burying Nana even deeper inside the mound.

"Lin!" Jasper was standing on a piece of floating debris, "How the hell is she?"

"I have no idea, just aim for her heart." Lin jumped between the pieces of debris, punching Mika, "DIE!" Lin jumped onto the platform Mika was standing on. Lin imbued his fist with magic, punching Mika in the chest. Lin threw another punch, towards her abdomen. Imbueing his feet with magic Lin kicked Mika's calf, making her lose her balance.

"Shatter!" Mika screamed. All the debris that had accumulated in the middle started to disperse, clashing against the wall of the sphere.

A large piece of rock pierced Lin's shoulder, immobilising his left arm.

"I've got you!" Jasper jumped onto the platform both of them were, "Let there be embers!" A large eruption of flames came out Jasper's hand.

"Let there be sparks!" Lin dove into the fire, uppercutting Mika in the chin, sending her flying upwards and smiting her with thunder, "Nana!"

Nana appeared behind Mika, shoving her hand through Mika's body, "Game over." Nana pulled out Mika's heart, kicking her down to the floor. The walls and floor started to reform again, the large veil that covered the area lifted. Nana walked towards Mika's heartless body, clenching her heart in her hand.

"What a shame." Mika rolled over, her body directly under the sun, "Beautiful day isn't it?"

"Too bad it'll be your last day." Nana placed her foot onto Mika's body.

Mika wheezed, "You'll see me again." Nana crushed the orb in her hand while Mika smiled at her.

The alleyway that they had fought in had completely returned to normal.

-----Scene 2-----

2 Hours Before...

"You guys, the council, have seen it. During the first trial a fight broke lit between a student and an external force." He had his feet on the table of 8, with a name tag that said 'Assistant CEO: Bennett J.'

"I apprehended the student in question, the dicere though, she's still at large." Leo had both of his hands on the table, wearing a pair of sunglasses, "We've got S class sorcerers on the search, she could possibly be hidden as a student. Her name is Mika Nota. An A1 rank Dicere."

"What's with the whole new ranking system anyway?" An old man sat with one of his leg raised and on the chair, "Can't we just revert to the old system?" He had a name tag that said 'SSS Rank: Peri Simmons.'

"The system is even that hard to remember, 5 is easy, 4 is medium, 3 is average, 2 is hard, 1 is life threatening. Just throw a number in the front for its main rank." A woman dressed in all white sat in the middle seat, she had no name tag.

"That's not what we're here to discuss." Leo took out a glass shard he had kept in his pocket, "This is a shard from the orb of revelation from which the 18 year old first year student at Laftis University used illegally. Notice anything weird?" Leo held the shard to the light, "It's red."

"So what? Any old person could just colour it." Bennett looked at Peri.

"It is peculiar." Another man said, sat in the chair next to Leo. He had a name tag that said 'Manager Of S.O.U.L: Jae Yoon.'

"What'd you think? You're practically married to a magical relic." Leo handed the shard to Jae Yoon.

"Hmm." Jae Yoon crushed the shard in his hands, "It's much harder than a regular orb." The shard fell out of Jae Yoon's hand, cutting him, "It seems to be an artificial orb. An orb that unlocks the career technique of an individual but at the cost of them turning into a dicere, 100% of the time."

"How the hell did you know that?" A woman with pink hair and a suit slammed the table, "I'm telling you, there's something wrong with him."

"Calm down Rose." A creature sat in the seat directly opposite Leo. The creature was humanoid and had scales all over it's body. He had a name tag that said "SSS Rank Sorcerer: Ester"

"You wanna go Ester?" Rose's hair started to turn dark green.

"Silence children. We don't want to have a commotion do we?" An eerie silence came over the room, no one dared to make a sound. The man sat in a white chair, while everyone else had black chairs. He sat in the middle chair, directly opposite the woman with no name tag. He was wearing a black suit, his tie was crooked and he had a name tag on his chest, 'CEO: Sashizuki' Izuki got out of his chair and readjusted his tie, "I think it's time we all went home, the second trial starts in less than 2 hours." Izuki looked at Leo, his eyes were pure white, with only a ring of black, filled in with more white, "You, go check up on that student." Izuki took his coat and walked out the room.

Leo stood up without looking at anyone and left the room.

"Talk about being a mood." Rose had her elbow on the table, her head lying on her hand.

"With that said, council is dismissed." Bennet said as he put the shard into his pocket.
