A furrow of eyebrows came over her forehead when his words came to her ears. She tried to suppress the frustration she felt as she parted her lips to talk.
"I don't care what others think" She responded with a straight face to show that she was not kidding.
"Is it too much to ask you to stay by my side?" she questioned.
Another scoff escaped Zephyr's lips. He shook his head slightly and rose from the chair, taking long steps in her direction, then stood in front of her with their bodies an inch apart.
He bowed his head down to her ears and murmured softly. "Someone despised the way I talk, act, and walk. Maybe my presence also infuriates you"
"I didn't say that" she interjected.
