Chapter 35: Disrupted
All of the troop were benumbed. several of them leaning against each other, heavily drunk and snoring loudly. While William was the only one awake and rational despite all the drinks he had.
He was standing and looking at the direction which Neo had just disappeared to. Why was he taking so long to return? what if he had gotten into danger and needed help?.
"He's an alpha" His wolf suddenly appeared in his head and reminded him.
Right. He is, and he was most capable of taking care of himself but what if he was outnumbered and has no one to help him?
His wolf rolled his eyes, thinking inwardly that William was merely overthinking it and he needed to calm down.
He was on the verge of shifting to his form and leaping off when he noticed a shadow in the front. The stealthy movements proved to him that the person was up to something. "No wonder why he asked me to stay here, if I had gone, I wouldn't be able to see this one" He thoughtfully said to himself.
