“A blackout?” Dion muttered to himself.
He couldn’t believe his bad luck. He had just entered the temperature-controlled room and washed his hands so he could work on the new corpse when the room was suddenly plunged into total darkness. He was familiar with the layout of the room, and he knew where everything was. More or less. However, he didn’t want to risk bumping into something unexpected as he attempted to make his way out from the room. Hence, he decided to take his smartphone out from the pocket of his jeans so he could turn on the flashlight mode.
