"W-where are you taking us!?" Sola struggled against the firm hold of one of my sentinels as it began dragging her towards a portal, "You will regret this! The Holy Sky Temple will not take our disappearance lightly!"
I sighed. Of course they would not. However, I'd rather have them searching for the paladins than searching for me.
So much for peace and quiet.
A golden portal in the shape of a wide doorway shimmered and glowed near the oak tree. Frank and two other sentinels stood silently under the oak, in front of a very confused Zeal who had just rubbed her eyes open a minute ago.
"Y-you wouldn't dare make a mockery of a maiden!" Fyren said as a sentinel carried her by her hands and feet.
It was, admittedly, an amusing sight to see the green-eyed paladin get carried away into a portal by a nonchalant sentinel. What was not amusing, however, was how annoying her voice could be. It sounded off, a bit of a squeal.
