The First Meeting

Mount Olympus, Greece 7:57 pm

On the highest mountain in Greece, where the weather is fair, as the sun was warm enough for the mount climbers to feel it, with the cool wind that would make them forget about the warmness. The team of 4 mount climbers, all equipped with the appropriate gear for climbing a mountain as big as Olympus, continues climbing down the mountain. Two, greek guys in their late 20's, with brown hair, tanned skin, and full, bushy beards, in the prime of their lives above the two women. One with blonde hair, and slightly pale skin, and the other one with black hair and skin. Both of them were in peak condition, for climbing a mountain such as this below the two guys.

They made it past the 6,000ft mark, with only a few thousand more feet before they reached the bottom of the mountain. "How long before we reach the refuge point?!" The blonde lady yelled. "We got about 100 feet until we can make camp!" One of the guys responded as he moves down. "Hey, when we get to the camp, you gotta show me those photos you took at the top!" The black-haired girl above her said as she was a little anxious to see the pictures her friend took on top of the mountain. "Fine, but until then don't talk to me!" The blonde hair girl said in an annoyed tone. "Hey! There's no need to be rude about it! I was just asking!" The dark-haired girl shouting in response.

"I'm trying to concentrate here and the last thing I need is oh shit!" The blonde hair girl said as her foot slip, causing her to lose her footing. She holds on with all her might, as she could feel her grip slipping. "I'm about to fall!" She said, alerting the others of her situation. "Try to hold on, Natalie! Ajax! Brooke! Brace yourself!" The man above the three climbers yells. The two do what he said and brace themselves as Natalie loses her grip. She falls about five-ten feet before the harness pulls, making her dangle in the air.

On the flat surface of the top of another mountain, that is across the one the mount climbers are climbing, is a pale man with short black hair, wearing a pitch-black suit standing on the edge of a cliff, while smoking a cigarette. He watches them as one of them dangle from their harness, trying to stay as still as possible, to ensure her safety. He focuses his dead, emotionless eyes on her as the wind starts to blow, making her slightly sway side to side, as one of them tells her what to do, while the rest comforts her. An owl approaches the man's shoulder, who doesn't flinch or even acknowledge the presence of the bird that's coat is as grey as the bark on dead trees. He takes the cigarette to his lips, deeply inhales, and then exhales as he takes it off his lips.

As he stares at the girl dangling, a shadow slowly crept up behind the man. The shadow gets behind the man and they slightly take a deep breath, expanding their chest. "Hermes, I could sense you coming up the stairs, and I swear to god if you yell at me, I'll throw you off the edge after I shove that staff up your ass." The man said to the trickster god. The shadow disperses and reveals itself to be an athletic man in his mid 20's, with blonde, short, curly hair. The man is wearing a pair of running shoes with detailed drawings of wings on each side of both shoes, black athletic pants, and a matching tank top, displaying his muscular arms and toned body.

"I'm sorry Hades, I couldn't resist. Besides, what's the worst that would happen? You falling to death?" The man joked. He looks at the smoke coming from Hades's cigarette and looks back at his uncle. "Careful Hades, don't you know?" Hermes says. "Smoking will kill you." The two said in unison. "Don't be a smart ass, besides you keep telling that joke every time you see me smoke." The man said to his nephew unamused. Hades drops the cigarette and steps on it, putting it out.

While he was talking to Hermes, he witnesses the girl that was previously hanging on by her harness, back on the mountain with her group as they once again proceed to climb down. Hermes wonders what the king of the underworld has gazed at, and notices the group. "It seems like we have some adventurous people who want to climb Mount Olympus. How long do you think it will take them to realize that they're climbing a fake?" The god asks.

"Hopefully they won't and never will. Now, what is it you came here for?" The god of death responds. Well, to be honest, I didn't want to be here, but dad wanted me here as a messenger depending on what you tell him." He said, trailing off. "I'm here!" A voice said. They look to the entrance and see Poseidon in a green and blue Hawaiian t-shirt with fish and seaweed on it, and a matching swimming suit. His footwear is nothing fancy but a pair of sandals. "So what is so important that you need to summon us to Mount Olympus?" The god of water asks as he approaches the two. "I'll tell you when Zeus arrives." He told the man.

Then, in the middle of the dark blue sky, which is brightened by the setting sun, small clouds start to form, creating a giant, thick, cloud. It looks as if it would rain heavily, with heavy thunder and lightning in the background. It begins to form above the mountain top and in the blink of an eye, white lightning strikes, a man in a grey suit vest, with a white-collar shirt underneath and a red tie. He wears matching grey pants and brown dress shoes. He has blond/grey hair that goes down to his neck and a full, bushy, grey beard. "Hades, you said that there is something important you want to talk to us about." He said drawing everyone's attention.

"About time you showed up. Not that we're all here, I want to begin." Hades said, walking closer to Zeus. "I was minding my own business, you know taking care of Cerberus, doing the paperwork that comes with keeping souls in the underworld, and punishing those who try to escape. But then another god of death shows up in front of me, saying that they were going around telling the other gods of death that a piece of their god of destruction has arrived in the mortal realm." Hades explained.

Hermes was taken aback a little, while Poseidon didn't seem bothered by it, as well as Zeus. "Who specifically said this, and did they tell anybody else about this?" Zeus asked. "It was Ta'xet, and they said that it was important enough to tell other gods of death." Hades answered. "Sorry to interrupt but who exactly is Taxet?" Poseidon asked, getting the other brother's attention. "It's Ta'xet, and it's the Canadian god of death, so which means that unless we have permission from them or their boss, we can't interfere with anything." Hades told Poseidon. Hades looks at Zeus. "They would also like you, Zeus, to come to a meeting, with all the other leaders." He said.

"I guess I'm going to Canada. Did Ta'xet say anything else?" Zeus asks. "He said that it's going to take place in a forest in Yukon. You'll know where it is, or at least that's what it said." He said. "Fine, anything else?" He asks his brother. "No, that's all." Hades said. "Well if that's everything then I'm just going to leave, seeing as I'm not needed." Poseidon said, as he turns around and heads out. "You can help Hermes with telling the others. They will want to know about this." Zeus told his brother, who looks back. "Is that a suggestion, or a request?" He asks. "The second one." The youngest brother said.

"Alright, then." He said. He turns his head to Hermes. "You'll tell the ones in the clouds, and I'll tell the ones on the ground." Poseidon told him. Hermes nods his head and they both head towards the exit. "I have to get back. If I don't, Cerberus might throw a tantrum." He told his brother. "I'll see you after the meeting." He told his brother. Lightning struck the man and he was gone in an instant leaving the first one to arrive as the last to leave.
