Demonic Whispers

Xen yawned waking up early in the morning to get ready for his morning walk through the woods. He ate breakfast then headed out the door. He'd walk along the paths of the forest, listening to music. A while later he ended up going off the path and was deep in the forest, He took off his his headphones as he had heard some demonic whispers around him. Xen's parents who happened to be scientists who studied demons. They learned that each demons whisper like sound is different depending of the spices that demon was. Xen had each sound memorized in his head but this one was different from the others, meaning it was either a new species or one that they never knew about. He followed the whispers as they got louder and louder, he hid behind a tree as his saw a huge demon in front of him. The demon was around 30-40 feet tall and about 10-20 feet long, had a skull face, and had huge paws with sharp large claws. The demon happened to be sleeping on a large flat stone edge on a hill that overlooked the whole area that he was in, suddenly a wall of thick fog surrounded a portion of the forest, trapping both the demon and Xen together. Xen quickly moved to a near by cave with the entrance being just big enough for Xen to crawl through. Xen started a small fire and laid on his back thinking to himself. About 6 hours later Xen woke up to a loud yawn the demon had made as he woke up. The demon scaled down the side of the hill sniffing around for food, Xen put out the fire and hid behind a rock that was in the cave as he glanced over the rock towards the cave entrance. The demon walked towards the cave and looked inside, Xen quickly ducked to try and keep hidden. The demon dug into the cave making a rock fall onto Xen's leg, Xen grunted from the pain and suddenly was picked up from under the rock and placed on the stone edge the demon was once sleeping on. `The demon dropped a small stick and a vine for Xen to use as a splint. The demon then climbed up the hill and wrapped it's tail around Xen as it slept.
