"Annie… No!" Eve screamed, hugging Annie's lifeless body.
She felt terrified. Annie was the only person she could trust… the one who truly cared for her. But now, she was gone. It was so hard for Eve to accept this.
The sobs wracked her body, barely allowing a breath to be drawn. She felt suffocated as her heart constricted inside her chest.
Everything that happened there passed through her like a hurricane. She lost someone precious and she blamed herself for that. She was left alone once again in this cruel world.
Eve clenched her fists tightly and her eyes set ablaze.
'Alaric Stormholt! I won't forgive you for this. I'll make sure to avenge Annie's death. I won't allow you to get what you want.' Eve made a vow to herself.
She continued crying, mourning for Annie's death when suddenly she heard the rushing footsteps.
