Chapter 91: Hopeful Farewell

The following morning, the children were all playing on the open area in front of the building. Some were playing tag while others were playing hide and seek. The teachers were standing around while watching over the children.

Angelie and her group were looking at some plants and insects around the small garden near the gate. The garden was still inside the compound. Minatsu was also included in the group. She had been more participative in the activities for the past few days.

As Angelie's group was all crouched on the ground, someone showed up by the gate. Angelie noticed it and she stood up immediately. She realized that it was Mimi who came by.

"Oh, Mimi-san! What are you doing here?"

Angelie waved at Mimi and smiled at her.

"Um… I just wanted to see for my own eyes. I've heard some… unsettling news."

Mimi had her closed fist on her chest. Her eyes scanned Angelie's surroundings.

"Is something the matter, Mimi-san? What do you mean by 'unsettling news'?"
