Chapter 148: Timely Replacements

"Ah, I see. Then, I'll look around on my own then. See you guys later."

Hana turned around and waved her hand at Kiba and Mimi. She then walked out of the room without looking at the two of them.

"Crap. I think she's mad."

Kiba smiled and laughed it off.

"I wouldn't have minded if you went with Hana-nee. She's right, there's nothing to do here as no one will be going here."

Mimi kept her stare at the book she reopened.

"Not when I'm trying to get into your good graces…"

Kiba looked away as he talked under his breath.

"What was that…?"

Mimi then glared sideways at him.

"N-nothing… Just saying it would have been unfair to you, so it was the right thing to stay, or something…"

Kiba mumbled the last part of what he said. Mimi looked at him for a while before she let out a sigh and closed her book once again.
