Chapter 45 - His Martyr Side (The Second Kiss)

Ashleigh's POV

"S-Sorry ... I didn't mean to scare you about my brother." He said and he scratched his head so hard.

"It's okay ..." I said and then I smiled at him.

He took a deep breath and then stared into my eyes. We are the only ones here. I really confused about his behavior. I need to know what is going on.

And to my surprise, he suddenly holds my hand tightly.

"Ashleigh ... Please don't be uncomfortable with what I'm going to say. Okay?" He said.

I can see the nervousness in his speech. I just nodded in agreement with him.

"I've also been unable to understand how it feels for months. And now I seem to know what it is." He took a deep breath before continuing again. "I think ... I am falling in love with you." He said without hesitation and seriously while staring at me.

I don't know what to answer, I know that something is off but I don't really think that what Jasper said is true. But I still can't believe what's happening.
