PROM

One Friday after school, that is the Friday before prom, Mrs. Johnson took Anika and Daniel to the mall to pick out an outfit for prom. Lisa and Edwin also followed them since their mother apparently didn't care.

Saturday night, Sean came to pick Anika up and Daniel went to pick up his date with one of the cars. Mrs. Johnson was a doctor so she was called for an emergency that night which left Isabella all alone with the maid and Jake.

Well, there was nothing to do so she was watching her favourite television program. While the maid went to take a nap in her room. At prom, Anika was having so much fun with Sean, infact she had never had so much fun before in her life. Even Lisa was blushing throughout, but Anika had got to admit it, Lisa's date was cute. While Daniel was way on top of the world already with his date, everything was perfect for her this night and she prayed it never ended.

"Isabella, I would like to show you something in the basement," Jake told her.

"Ok let's go."

When she entered she turned and looked at him.

"But Jake there's nothing here."

"I know."

Just then his eyes glowed a fiery red and before Isabella could scream she had been pushed by an invisible force into a chair strapped tightly by her hands, chest and legs. Then he started saying some change, of course it wasn't English which was strange for a British speaking dog. Then something strange happened, immediately he was done chanting he dropped dead and his spirit went into Isabella's body. Her eyes glowed a fiery red for a moment then she was unstrapped, she went out of the basement and into the kitchen, grabbed a knife and went to the maid's room.

"Isabella is that you?"

Isabella didn't answer, it was dark so the maid couldn't see a thing.

"Isabella, who's there, Isabella, Isa- , aaaaaagh," she screamed in pain then was suddenly stiff, frozen.

Isabella left the knife on the bed and went back to watch her television program.

Back at prom, a quarrel was occuring between Anika and a girl named Jessica. Jessica poured a drink on Anika's dress while she was dancing with Sean.

"Why are you dancing with my boyfriend?"

"Why did you pour a drink on me?"

"Answer the question."

"And if I don't?"

"Hey Jessica, I'm not your boyfriend anymore, we broke up about three months ago. So please don't ruin this night for us." Sean involved himself, preventing them from fighting.

"Ugh, I can't believe you left me for her." Jessica walked away pushing Anika aside as she passed.

Sean took her hand and walked her to his car, opened the door for her and when she had sat down, he closed it and got into the driver's seat.

"I'm so sorry for what happened tonight and I promise I'll make it up to you. So I want to take you home so you'll get changed, ok?"

"It's ok I understand."

When they arrived at her house he helped her down from the car and held her hand till they got to the front door.

"Thanks for tonight Sean, I really had fun."

"I also had fun."

Then they passionately hugged, when they were done Anika was blushing.

"Goodnight, I'll call you when I get home."

"Ok, goodnight."

She watched him get into his car and waved as he pulled out of the yard. Just then, Daniel pulled into the yard, he got out of the car, locked it and walked up to Anika.

"I'm so sorry I-"

"It's ok, it's fine now, a hug made everything ok."

"You guys hugged?"

"Uh-huh, just said so, anyway I need to go change. Where's your date?" She asked while they walked inside and locked the door, " I dropped her at home, uh, I need to get something to drink, I'm going to the kitchen."

"Ok," she said climbing up the stairs.

"Oh, Bella how are you?" Daniel asked.

"I'm fine, how was prom?"

"It was fine, where's Jake?"

"I dunno."

"Ok." Then he went off to the kitchen.

A few minutes later Anika came downstairs, she saw three policemen talking to Isabella.
