COMPLICATIONS

"Excuse me there's no emergency and we didn't call, so why are you officers here?" Anika asked.

"Actually, Isabella called us telling us someone called Daniel killed her nanny."

A glass suddenly fell, everyone turned around to see that Daniel's cup had fallen from his hand as he heard the news, causing orange juice to splash all over the floor.

"That can't be possible officers, we just came home from prom, I went to change and he went to the kitchen."

"Can you please show us to the nanny's room?"

"Of course, let's go," Anika said leading the way.

When she got to the room she opened the door and put on the lights. The room smelt of blood, blood was on the bed and on the floor. Anika became dizzy, she hadn't seen such an amount of blood before so she went out of the room. The officers began their work immediately, one of the officers asked for backup on his walkie talkie, another handcuffed Daniel and took all of them to the front porch then put Daniel in the car, while the other stayed in the room for more exhibits.

Before the policeman could drive off with Daniel, Anika asked which police station he was being taken to, then he zoomed off. Daniel was speechless he didn't know whether he was in a dream or reality, he felt like crying but he couldn't, he felt like laughing but he couldn't, he was so confused.

"Hello Mom, Daniel was just arrested.... the police said he killed the nanny right in her room... Isabella did and I don't know why or how she knew... Metro police station. "

'oh my gosh what the heck is going on? ' Anika thought.

The policemen carried out the dead body into the ambulance and kept the maid's room under lock and key. When they got to the station, the police officer put Daniel in the questioning room. Just then an officer walked in but he wasn't putting on a uniform, he was he was a superior.

"So why did you kill her? "He asked sitting on the other side of the table.

"A quarrel, argument, she didn't do what you asked her to do, or did you try to **** her. You are eighteen already if I'm sure about my research on you, which makes you an adult under the law, so were you under the influence of alcohol I suppose? "

Daniel just stared at him blinking, knowing that nothing he said would make him stop accusing him.

"We got a stubborn one, you don't wanna talk, eh, boy? If you don't talk there's no way you're gettin outta here, this is a murder case if you don't know."

"I won't say a thing until I see my family lawyer. "

Before the officer could say anything another officer putting on a uniform came in and whispered into his ear then left.

"Looks like your mama is here to see you, let's go. "

He signalled to one of the officers in the room standing with a gun to take Daniel out of the room.

When she saw them coming she rose up and walked towards him.

"Are you ok are you hurt, "she asked touching his face.

"I'm fine mom, I'm not hurt. Mom I swear I didn't do it, I couldn't do it, I wouldn't do it I don't just know why.... "

"it's ok I've called your father and our lawyer. Don't worry the security cameras in the house ok so calm down. I have to get home now take care bye. "She said, then she walked out of the station and Daniel was taken to the cell where he would be detained. He wasn't allowed to go home because it was a murder case and there was no bail allowed for a murder case, he had to stay there until the investigation was over and he had solid evidence that he wasn't the one that perpetrated the crime. He he prayed so badly that the security cameras recorded what had happened that night.
