Chapter 11

 11 years later

   "Oooh, sis Ariel, where are you off to dressed like the queen of the prom", 17 year old Noelle powers asked his sister. 

She rolled her eyes. I'm not dressed like the queen of the prom", 25 year old Ariel asked. Noelle gave her a deadpan look. 

     She wore a knee length flowing Top with flowers imprinted on them and she had enough make up to make a 'Mona Lisa' painting. She looked in the mirror and shook her head. "Nope, this isn't me", she said and took a bath again much to the annoyance of Noelle who needed the house for movie night with his girlfriend.

     She finally came out again with just lip gloss. She wore royal blue trousers and a mid thigh length shirt with flowing arms. She also wore her Limited Edition, top listed, astronomical sneakers. It was simple but stylish and now she was ready to go. 

      It was the Astro-high school reunion and she was excited to meet her classmates after not seeing them all these years. Jero apart since he visited her in her very far away medical school from time to time to time. She threw the house keys at Noelle. "Remember dude, no making out in my bedroom or on the sofa, okay? ",she said. Noelle rolled his eyes but blushed. 

       "We don't make out, we only kiss in a slightly passionate way", he said. "What's the difference?", she asked playfully and left him. 

       The moment she got there, her plan of laying low was shattered to pieces. Everyone turned to her and shouted in amazement ,"Ariel, where have been? ". She smiled and hugged all the necessary people remaining calm throughout the process.

        She looked around to see if she could spot Jero.She dropped her calm façade the moment she saw the him and the future Mrs Jackson. She ran and hugged them. "W to the O to the W. Cutest couple ever", Ariel said in a doll's voice. Jero rolled his eyes while Adriana pursed her lips. "Don't say that Ariel, I thought WE were the cutest couple ever", Adriana said in an aggrieved voice and gestured to her and Ariel. 

       Ariel pretended to be sorry. "I'm so sorry darling, he probably drugged me to say that, of course we're the cutest couple", she said and Adriana acted like a child being pacified. The two girls looked at Jero's face and burst into laughter. "What? ", he asked confused. 

     Ariel pulled out her phone and snapped him. When Jero saw his face he started laughing too. He couldn't help it, he fought tooth and nail and worked off his pants to get Adriana. He was extremely possessive of her even towards his FEMALE friend. 

        The left side of his upper lip was lifted in a scowl and his eyebrows were drawn down. "Well don't make me jealous to my face", he said and hugged Adriana. She rolled her eyes. "This is the seventh time today", she mouthed to Ariel. 

       Adriana eventually went off to socialize since her twin brother hosted this party. "So when's the wedding", Ariel asked excitedly. "The wedding is in one year", Jero said annoyed. Ariel chuckled.

That was enough time since the Kurroines took nothing easy or simple. 

       "So how's Levi?", Jero asked. She hissed. The guy that happened to be her boyfriend was very annoying lately, always breaching the forbidden topic any time he got the chance and she already said she wasn't doing nothing till she was married. "Ehn, he's okay", she finally replied. 

        Jero sensed what was wrong. "If he keeps bothering you then just break up with him, he's not worth it", Jero said. Jero just voiced out what she had been thinking about. She sighed. "I don't know why my mother match made me with that....", she struggled but couldn't find the right word to describe him. "...testosterone filled....person", she finally ended. 

        "Your mother is worried, that's all. You haven't seemed to like anyone since Chad", he said. She shrugged and then she remembered. "What do you mean, I had a crush on my protector AND nova", she said. He thought back. "They don't count since you never saw either of them again", he said. She smacked his arm. 

         Halfway through the party, Ariel received a text from Levi saying:"I'm sorry for all the things I said, I really really need to see you now, I have something to give you". Ariel shook her head. Maybe he could be alright after all. She told Jero and Adriana and they waved her off. 

         She first drove to her house to check if Noelle wasn't really making out. He was right, they only kissed slightly passionately after which they both blushed like shy children when she entered. She gave him a knowing smile. "I'm going to Levi, I'll be back in two hours", she said and started leaving. "Can't you just break up with that dude already,  he pisses me off", Noelle said and stomped his foot. 

        Ariel shook her head and left. She knocked for three while minutes before he answered the door. "Why did you keep me waiting since you called me yourself? ", Ariel asked calmly albeit annoyed. Levi gave her a rugged smirk that would make women swoon. But it didn't affect Ariel, I mean come on, her protector smirked the cutest out of everyone she had ever met. 

        Levi ushered her in and began to fuss over her. Ariel felt that something was off but she waved it off. "What do you wanna eat? ", Ariel asked since she herself was hungry so she could have the chance to cook for herself and her default boyfriend. 

      "I wanna eat you up", he said. Ariel rolled her eyes. "I'm not a food how can you ea-", she was interrupted. Levi jumped her and tied her hands behind her back. Then she realized what he meant.
