Season 1 Chapter 9: A Mission to Prestige Part 1

(2nd Week of October 2017)

After the friendly party group sparring match with the Trinity's Blessing, we decided to train alone and do preparation for the upcoming "Friendly Tournament" that will be Player vs Player. Welt went somewhere to train alone, as for Raizah she went to her friend that will help her grow stronger, as for Accel he received a letter from the National Association for his promotions.

(Few Hours Later)

Accel arrived at the National Association, wherein he was greeted by the Receptionist and was guided one of the private rooms to discuss his promotions. Upon arriving, there was a middle-aged man wearing a black suit drinking tea, as if he was expecting his arrival.

Middle-Aged Man: "Good morning, student Accel. Welcome, I heard you wanted to promote your social status, correct?"

Accel: "Yes, Sir. Is it possible, though I may be still 12 years old, can I able to promote my social status?"

Middle-Aged Man: "Yes, its possible. Oh! I forgot, my name is Jonathan. One of the Representatives of a certain Noble House. I am tasked to give missions and give young people like you about there social status promotion. I am also the Head Butler."

Accel: "Yes, Sir Jonathan... Hmm... You said missions, right? So, you will give me a certain mission in order to promote my social status, correct?"

Representative Jonathan: "Yes, that is correct. So, are you ready to embark your path becoming either or both becoming a noble and a knight?"

Accel: "Yes, Sir!"

Representative Jonathan: "Good, your current status is now "Commoner" the next status is becoming "Humble Servant" basically becoming first a Butler from a certain Noble House that has a social status of either "Baronet" or "Baron"."

Accel: "I see."

Representative Jonathan: "So, your mission is to guard a small village with a total population of 50-75 people, your MagiTech Watch will send the coordinates, the total days of guarding the village from monsters or wild animals is at least 3-4 days, once completion the Chief on the small village will give you the completion contract the will be handover to the National Association for the proof that you guarded the small village, do you understand, student Accel?"

Accel: "Yes, Sir Jonathan. I got a question. Only me will do this mission?"

Representative Jonathan: "Yes, you are one of the few students to get this missions. Do not worry, the monsters and wild animals rank ranges between G-Rank to F-Rank, most of the high-rank monsters have been dealt already, according to the reports from the National Association. Once you are promoted, I will assign you to serve from the Noble Fractions, but of course I will not send you those people, you know what I mean. But, still you are young, but you know this kind of things, how mature of you. Okay, that is all. Good Luck then student Accel"

Accel: "It's nothing and thank you so much, Sir Jonathan. I will do my best."

Before Representative Jonathan leave the room, he gave Accel the rest of the information, but the information was about the rewards of the completion. According to the rewards its a "Complete Set Chainmail Armor (Uncommon Tier), Iron Sword and Shield (Uncommon Tier), Skill Scroll (Uncommon Tier), and VP 500." It was a big reward, that made Accel happy.

(Several Minutes Later)

The Receptionist guided Accel back, with supplies and item. According to the coordinates that was given to Sir Jonathan, its near to the Misty Forest that ranges of C-Rank Monsters and Wild Animals lurking there. The Misty Forest location is near, so Accel decided to walk towards the small village and at the same time he can kill and defeat some monsters/wild animals on his way there to level up.

For some reason, the National Association was so generous that they gave me a free "Item Box (Common Tier)" that can hold more or less 10kg of weight, my journey towards the small village was easy and without the heavy weight feeling I am able to deal my enemies... Accel was thinking as if the National Association is expecting something from me...

(Few Hours Later)

Accel arrived at the small village and was greeted by the village guards they were all level between 35 to 50. According to the reports from the village head guard, they were expecting a student from National Mastery Academy. They guided me to the village chief to discuss more about the situation...

(Village Chief Hut)

Village Chief: "Welcome! Student of National Mastery Academy. I am Noah, Chief of this Small Village near the Misty Forest."

Accel: "Hello, Chief Noah. I am Accel a newly student of NMA, assign to task to guard the village due to active of monsters and wild animals for the past few days, is that correct sir?"

Village Chief Noah: "Yes that is correct. You are so young still, but you are given this kind of task, is there a reason for raising your social status, student? I think, base on my observation, you must be somewhere 12-13 years old... Nevermind... I will not pry your personal things... Okay, student Accel. I hereby declare that the contract of proof will begin!"

Accel: "Thank you, Village Chief Noah. Thank you for your understanding about raising my social status, I am doing for a personal goal that I am trying to achieve, I'll do my best. (Leaves the Hut)"

Accel Thoughts: "What a sharp village chief he is..."

(Village Front Gate --- Afternoon)

The village guards guided Accel near the Front Gate. A huge tent was prepared for his stay for few days. Upon finishing his preparation, Accel wear his Complete Set of Bronze Armor that he recently bought on the National Association Store before living.

Set for 2pcs: Lessen the Weight of the Armor by 50%:

1. Bronze Helmet: Increase HP by 10%.

2. Bronze Gauntlets: Increase ATK by 10%.

Set for 4pcs: Increase HP by 250 and SP by 150:

3. Bronze Greaves: Increase HP Regen by 5%.

4. Bronze Breastplate: Decrease Damage Dealt by Enemies by 5%.

With this preparation, Accel can now start his mission...
