As Mar-Dule recalled this distant memory, the image of the servant girl overlapped with Hua-Yin's face in front of him.
Mar-Dule immediately blushed from embarrassment, but Hua-Yin hugged him and said reassuringly.
"I wasn't crying because of our kiss, but because of our heads colliding. When I heard that you wanted to meet me again, I hid in my courtyard out of embarrassment. But I think even if I wanted to meet you, Mother wouldn't have let me."
As Hua-Yin hugged him, Mar-Dule went to hold her waist, but his hands instantly froze when he heard Hua-Yin's latter sentence.
"Your Mother? Who is your Mother?"
Still hugging Mar-Dule, Hua-Yin explained.
"My Mother is the Sect Leader of the Emei Sect, but I was adopted by her from my mortal parents when she discovered I had the Yin Spirit Body."
Mar-Dule's body shook, and his hands immediately dropped to his side. His face had gone pale as well.
