Battle against Yuno!

Zakai and Yuno both stood on the opposite side of the pitch and looked at each over with a battle-hungry smile

The referee started talking "The rules ar-"

"I disagree." Yami said, looking down towards the duo "I believe they should fight each over as if they were on a battlefield and overcome their limits."

Fugeleon nodded "For the first time, I agree with Yami."

Zakai looked at yuno and said "This cool with you?"

"Fine."

The referee nodded "No crippling and death are accepted. healing mages will be on stand by in case of injury."

both nodded, getting excited about the upcoming fight

"I won't go easy on you," Zakai said, looking at the smiling yuno

"Me neither."

Both Zakai and Yuno clenched their muscles

both stared at each over

A battle hungry expression appeared on both

"Go!"

Their figures turned into afterimages as they both clashed each over on the battlefield, dagger to the sword

"Wind magic?" The magic captains were shocked

Yami smiled, watching as the ki flaoted in his grimoire

Zakai was first to break the clash as he retreated. backwards, using his foot to slow himself down

Yuno's eyes were wide open "Wind magic?"

"I have some tricks of my own," Zakai said, his grimoire open as he cast some magic

"[Paper magic - Demonic paper blades]!"

6 sharp and fast pieces of paper were shot out, aiming for the non-vitals of Yuno

"Great magical control." Even charlotte couldn't help but nod her head seeing this

"2 geniuses that will define the clover kindgom," Wiliam said, his eyes locking on both of them

Seeing the rapidly approaching paper blades, Yuno opened his grimoire as he cast

"[Wind magic: Tornado fang]!"

a high-pressure horizontal wind that looked like a fang was present on the battlefield as it shot to Zakai making him smile

"Wind with Wind," Zakai said, chanting

"[Bow magic: Bow of the demon]"

A longbow appeared causing the crowd to mutter

"A bow, what a rare weapon for this day and age."

"[Wind magic: Zephr Arrow]"

An arrow was produced, and after putting a quite of bit on mana in it, he released, causing it to clash with the large Tornado

a Gust of wind blew across the battlefield as Zakai used it as cover to close the distance, his magical dagger in hand

Blows were traded between sword and dagger, with both sustaining cuts to their body

"Not bad." Yuno nodded

"You too."

they both had quite a bit of mana left, so they stood staring at each over, anticipating each overs next move

Zakai laughed, before saying "Why don't we make this more interesting?"

yuno looked at him with a "?" on his face

"[Blessed water magic.]"

a large amount of mana water healed him and his wounds, before looking at Zakai, who was in the sky

Yuno floated up in the sky, looking at Zakai

"Sister lilys magic?"

"Long story." Zakai said, "Now we can go full-on out, and since the stadium had people in it, we both know me and you are restraining ourselves."

Yuno looked at me with a smile, before Opening his Grimoire

"Round 2," Zakai said with a smile

the battle started with both of them Summoning their spells

"[Paper magic: Wings of the demonic angel]

Wings with a large wingspan arose from Zakai as he waited for Yuno to make a move

"[Wind magic: Crescent Timatachi]" Yuno was trying to get off guard as a large Wing blade hit Zakai, causing him to spit blood

A large cloud made out of wind magic came out, Causing Zakai to use it as cover

"[Wind magic: Zephr Arrow]"

Although yuno was on high alert, an arrow with fast speed tore through the sky and was about to hit him when he used raw wing magic to redirect the arrow upward, causing Zakai to whisper in his ear

"I got you."

Yuno smirked

"Who said that?"

bullets moulded out of wind element was shot at his back, which made Zakai have to retreat

although non of them hit him, he had to retreat, which wasn't a favourable thing for him

"What should I do," Zakai said, helpless. but this helpless fueled his battle for hunger as he reinforced his body with not only mana but wind magic, causing a faint Green membrane to envelop the skin of Zakai

He poured as much mana as he could into the blade as he rushed to yuno, who was ready to retreat

"This guy is way better than the bandit king!"

Afterimages showed Zakai's previous location as he shot towards yuno, who was anticipating his arrival with wind magic

"[Wind magic: Towering tornado]"

A large tornado was produced, but Zakai didn't care

"I need to cut through it." He said, putting all of his mana into his final blow. the dagger at this part was extremely long due to the influx of many into it

seeing that it won't work, Yuno also put nearly all of his mana into the Tornado, watching as it grew longer and longer

"Are these kids... or monsters?" Yami said, looking at them both

"Both." Jack the ripper said

but only William knew the second part of the sentence as his mask couldn't hide his smile

as Zakai screamed, he put as much mana as he could possibly need into the blade

"One strike is all I need."

Becoming an afterimage and rushing towards the tornado, Zakai struck at the tornado, attempting to breakthrough

"Come on!" He screamed, slowly making progress onto the solid tornado that was denying his entrance

Driving it home, Zakai watched as the blade finally cut through the tornado, going to Yuno

"You lost."

"Yeah." He said, perfectly patient and calm

suddenly, both of them felt woozy as they both dropped down from the air, due to a lack of mana

William opened his Grimoire and said

"[World tree magic: Branches of the world tree.]

a tree sprouted from the ground and reached towards the duo in the air, with its branches

looking towards the healer, William said "If you would please."

a group of healers swarmed the 2 boys, healing and restoring their magic. within 5 minutes, they woke up

Zalak woke up with a banging headache as he looked towards the battlefield, where Asta and Bah-ha guy was fighting

Asta had a sword that even gave him chills as he rushed towards the Bah-ha guy

The sword was demonic, much like his Grimoire

as the Blade got closer to the Grimoire the blade shook even more, but instead of trying to go away it was trying to go near it

"Enough," Zakai said, recalling it

he had a massive headache, so it was time to sleep. there were no more exams, so he could have a nap

when he woke up, it was near sunset and Squad collections were starting

numbers started flying by, around 93% of the 82 people not being chosen

"Number 83!"

Zakai stepped forward, causing him to smile.

"I wonder what he will get?"
