#Chapter468
Dating sucks
Patton
I showed up at the movie theater, waiting on Britt. We had been talking for a while, and I was getting used to talking to her. Usually, I wouldn’t even ask a girl out on a date, but there was something about her. She was a lot different from most of the girls I made out.
She wasn’t into superficial things, and she was funny. I liked that about her.
I stood in the lobby and waited for her to show up. Most guys would pick up a girl and take them out, but I was nervous about screwing this up. It’s not like I knew anything about dating, and most of the girls weren’t the type I wanted to be around for extended periods. Most were annoying.
I paced around as I checked the time, waiting for her to show, but she never did. People came and went while I stood there like a tool, and thus I don’t date.
