David woke gently, slipping from the bed without disturbing Seraphina or Amilia, who remained fast asleep. His heart swelled with emotion as he quietly approached Katrina, Shay, and Vivian. Without thinking, he wrapped his arms around all three, drawing them into a warm embrace.
