"Taida?" I walked into my office and found an unexpected guest there.
"Bah, Bah!"
I was about to speak, only to stop as I look at my adopted son. I couldn't believe my eyes, this couldn't be right, could it? A Savior at 5 months old? It doesn't make sense. The youngest recorded Savior was 5 years old and he became the only man to become a SS class. Taida has always been an intelligent child, he's always observing his surroundings, and he can already understand what we say to him.
From the moment I brought him home, I knew he was a special child. The Mana around him seemed to calm down with his presence, yet I can barely feel his mana signature. There's only one word I can use to describe him....He's a Genius! But 5 months old? Isn't that a little too early? His brain has barely had time to develop....oh well, no reason to dwell on that now.
Protecting him has now become not only my duty as his mother, but the duty of all of those who wish for the prosperity of humanity....is what I would say, but there's nothing to do about if for now but teach him how to use his powers. I'm not a teacher for nothing after all. I'll wait a while before I start his training though. He deserves a normal childhood and that's exactly what he'll get. He might become the key to winning the war against the supernatural, but I pull myself out of my thoughts and focus on the small boy once more...
"ZZzzzzz"
"Pfft, HAHAHAHA!" I burst out laughing.
This kid is the same as usual. I guess I was lost in thought for too long and he fell asleep. I guess the future hero of humanity needs his sleep.
"Let's get you in bed..." I say as I pick him up.
---------
[After sleeping, HP and MP are now at full capacity]
I guess I'm awake now, I've almost mastered the art of falling asleep on command. I'm surprised it hasn't become a skill yet. Speaking of skills...

+1000% Unarmed Damage]
(AN Note: Shirogane means White Knight.)
Clairvoyance...what a disappointment. It only allows me to enhance my eyesight, but It's a start I suppose.
I'll make sure to train these...when I get around to it. I have the power of laziness and procrastination on my side! But at the same time, I can't get good sleep knowing that anything can one tap me as I am right now. I'll have to find a way to speed-run this training soon.
Up next are the dark arts. The textbook only gave me access to Step One spells. These are spells that only require one line of chanting and writing. Although most of the spells are useless to ma right now, there is one spell that caught my attention...
[Dark Arts Spell: Decrease Weight
Description: Upon activation, the user's weight decreases to near zero, allowing the user to float.
MP Cost: 100 MP]
It doesn't sound that impressive on the surface. The textbook said it wasn't widely used due to the lack of a safety net. If the spell deactivated while in the air, they would plummet to the ground at terminal velocity. Not to mention that it can't be used on a windy day or they'll end up in a different zip code or prefecture in this case. Although, on closer inspection, this may be the most useful spell the Dark Arts has to offer.
If [Decrease Weight] does exactly as it says then that means this spell allows for Gravity Manipulation. Now if that isn't enough to show how overpowered this spell can be, imagine this; what if the [Decrease Weight] was a Step Three area of affect spell. Meaning that everything around the user has become near weightless. Let's just say it would be my own personal space program that sends anything I want outside of Earth's orbit.
So many possibilities! Not to mention the other possible applications of gravity manipulation, like making myself heavier, making a gravity field, or casually making a black hole. The possibilities are endless!
Let's try it out shall we...
"Bah, BAHBAH!" 'I Hereby Declare: Decrease Weight!"
-----------
I never would have thought that a kid who's only hobbies are sleeping and playing with Legos was a genius who would become a Savior at 5 months old. It sounds more and more ridiculous every time I say it. As I was lost in thought, my senses picked up on something.
"Huh? Magic? What's going on?"
I walk towards the source and I find myself in front on Taida's door. It can't be, right? I look at the door knob with some hesitation. I take a deep breath and slowly enter the room. It looks the same as always, well almost. I look to the ceiling and see my toddler walking around without a care in the world, with a big smile on his face. This has to be a dream right?
"Ancient Dragon?" I say, baffled.
The Ancient Dragon, a soul that has lived more than two lifetimes and still retain memories of them. Normal Saviors are only capable of using either Light Arts or Dark Arts, never both. Their souls simply can't hold up to the pressure of using two different, conflicting, energies. This is why Dark Arts users can't heal Light Arts users, their bodies simply reject Mana.
"Bah!" Taida said while floating toward me.
I catch him in my arms, lost as to what I'm supposed to do about this. There's no other choice, I need to get some advice. I don't know how to handle this alone.
----------
Meanwhile, on a mountain in China....
*Ring Ring**Ring Ring*
No one picks up...
*Ring Ring**Ring Ring*
A figure appears out of nowhere at a speed only the most experienced warriors can catch a glimpse of. An old man with long, white hair appears, but he looked anything but his real age; broad shoulders and bulging, defined muscles. He strides toward the ringing phone with silent but powerful steps. His calloused hand reaches for the phone and gently picks it up.
"Hello there, strongest man in the world speaking. What can I do you for?
"Diegua-sensei, you're lively as always I see."
"Ah, Mari, how have you been? I haven't heard from you since you left China a few years ago."
"It has been too long hasn't it?"
"It has, it has! So, what can I do for you, I'm guessing you didn't call just to catch up?"
"Although I wish that was the case, I need your help with something I can't handle on my own."
"Oh? Something even the principal of Akane Academy can't handle? You have my attention."

AN: There will finally be some action in the next chapter....I hope. I have to get a lot of world building in here to make sure everyone is on the same page. Thanks for reading!
