Marley pt 1

Y/n pov:

"Marcel!" I shouted for my brother as Porco tries to pick a fight with Reiner over who gets a titan.

"Porco stop" Marcel grabs Porco and puts him into a headlock.

"Hey, no fair. How come he gets the choice to be the armour."

Porco hasn't stopped whining all day.  yes I don't like Reiner, doesn't mean I would fight him. Honestly I'll be worried if Porco does get a titan.  His temper would get the better of him.

"Sorry y/n for scaring you like that" Porco looks down at me and smiles.

"You always have to be violent don't you" giving him a death glare I reply.

Marcel sighs.

~little time skip~

"Commander sir!" The eight of us shout.

We were at the training grounds. Only the top eight were allowed to choose to inherit a titan.

Lucky, with my intelligence and althlecticism I was able to place top ten. Alongside my brothers.

"The higher ups have thought hard about the decisions. One of you will not inherit a titan. For the rest of you I wish you luck."

I looked over to Annie and gave her a thumbs up. She did the same.

I grabbed Marcel's hand as the commander read allowed the results.

"Firstly, the female titan. Annie Leonhart."

I secretly cheered to myself when Annie was picked.

"The armoured titan. Reiner Braun"

Porco looks really annoyed right now. Not gonna lie I kinda wanted Porco to get the position but he might get another.

"The jaw titan. Marcel galliard."

I smiled at my eldest brother and he returned it.

"The beast titan. Zeke Yeager"

How long was this going to take. It's kinda funny though. The commander takes dramatic pauses between saying the names so it is pretty annoying.

"The cart titan. Pieck finger."

I've only talked to pieck once. But I'm quite certain she has a crush on Porco. I don't get why anyone would like him. I mean he is my brother and all but he's really loud and annoying.

Although I find most people annoying.

"The scythe titan. Y/n galliard."

I was chosen. Marcel looked at me with sadness, but I batted an eye. Annie and me share a glance at each other and do imaginary fist bumps.

Lastly, the colossal titan. Bertholt hoover."

Porco wasn't chosen. Why?! He is way better suited than most of us. Especially Reiner. How did he get in but not Porco.

"Porco" I looked over to my brother who was standing beside me.

"At least stay safe y/n. Dont die alright."

"Don't worry brother. I'll be fine" I smiled at him and gave him a hug.

I ran over to Annie and jumped into a hug.

"Were both gonna be important to Marley!"

She chucked at my comment.

" We would both be picked either way silly."

"Hey Marcel why are you sad."

I remember when commander said my name Marcel's face was full of despair. Almost as if he didn't want me to inherit a titan.

"I'm just trying to keep you and Porco safe. That's what a big brother should do right?"

"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."

I expected this from Marcel. He's always overprotective but that's what I guess for being a reckless child.
