"I get that her feelings were hurt after what Cash said but, That still doesn't explain the fainting and everything." Ivy said, and Kingsley looked over at her with a concerned look on his face. He took a deep breath and clenched his fist before looking over at her again.
"That wasn't the issue here, entirely, what scared me is what caused her to collapse, and the fact that it wasn't only then but it would happen more frequently. Twice a week, or even thrice every five days. And still she refused to tell me what I could do to help her, she said that it happened more and more frequently when she was feeling sick, hospitals weren't an option, so I decided to get the truth from her instead."
Knock! Knock!
"Come in, Kingsley." I heard the voice call out to me. I hesitated and sighed before opening her door, to find her in bed holding her phone, maybe she had been watching something. "How are you feeling now?" I asked and she sat up and put her phone away.
"Not any better, but I think that maybe It'll pass, soon. Or maybe not...." She said looking back at my direction. I wasn't going to have it. Not even for a second, the guilt was killing me now.
"The house looks like a complete mess." She laughed and the next thing I heard was a loud growl from her stomach and I got the idea of what exactly was going on. She quickly covered herself under the covers and whimpered in embarrassment as I put a hand over the blankets and couldn't help but smile.
"Nikita...I know what you eat, I know that you've been denying yourself what you need, but I don't want you to anymore. It was a shock to find out about at first, but its better than you dying here, trying not to gross me out." I remember saying those words that came out of nowhere, trying my best to comfort her, but honestly all of it put me in a weird kind of dilemma."
"What exactly do her 'kind' eat? Bunnies, suck blood...?" Ivy asked with a smug smile on her face.
"Human, her kind eat humans and they could die if they didn't get their sufficient amount of food...."
"Oh no, Kingsley, did she actually..."
"She didn't have a choice and I couldn't just let her die." Ivy stood up and paced the room before coming to sit next to me. The shock of what I heard of what I knew Nikita was capable of was what made things complicated back then. That started with the fact that After that nothing between her and I was the same anymore and the thought of it at first seemed unthinkable.
