Ch-5

What had happened!? I did not know. He had punched me on my face, but there was a cut in my abdomen? Mo then said, "Look at his hand." When I did, I got to know, why I was bleeding. The opponent was holding a knife. I could feel power flowing in it. So that was why, he was faster, stronger than me and why I had gotten a cut. He had summoned his weapon, which was the knife. I summoned my sword too. The remaining of my teammates were also fighting the opponents in a 1v1 fight. This was not like a team battle, but more like 5 individual battles. Both the teams, ours and the opponents, were not fighting like a good team. By summoning my weapon, I grew exponentially stronger than I was. I leapt forward to attack. He was actually slower than me, when I had also summoned my weapon. I struck my weapon at him, but he dodged. I attacked again, and it cut him. The cut that I dealt to him was deeper than the one he had given me. But then, he used the soul's power within him. I could feel it. Someone who was hardly able to keep up with me, was now faster than me.

He came at me, and I somehow managed to dodge. It looked like he still couldn't control any elements. I hit him with my attack.

-Wind Blade

A strike of wind gushed at him. It was a long-range attack. The attack hit him and it gave him another cut. I was ready to strike again, but then… Laimas came in, and hit him with his spear. The man went flying and got knocked out. I was the only one who was still fighting and the others had already finished their fight!

"What took you so long?" Laimas asked.

"He didn't even seem strong, Leader." Zarek said.

"Oh, you have got a cut!" exclaimed Asralyn.

"Wait, I will heal it." Said Caelia.

"Oh, Thanks" I said.

The fight was over. We had won, with only 1 minor injury in the whole team. It was a success. Still, I was the only one who was holding back the team. Maybe I shouldn't have held back my powers, and use all of it.

Mo immediately denied it. Me also denied it.

"You shouldn't absorb your weapon or use our powers in the phase-1. It will only give your enemies various way to counter them. Use it only if you get someone who is stronger than you." Mo said.

"But shouldn't I use my fire power. It is my strongest after all. Tomorrow I will use it."

"No, you idiot. That is your hidden trick. Using fire is absolutely forbidden. But, if you really want to use more power, you can use your wind, ice and electric special moves. Fine with that?"

"Yes, something is better than nothing."

The next day, we again went to the arena. This time we had to fight in arena 11. Our opponents looked strong.

3! 2! 1! START!!!

The fight started. I immediately pulled out my sword and attacked.

-Special move: Wind Tornado.

Suddenly a big tornado appeared in the arena. I sent the tornado straight for the opponents. They did not know what to do. One of them used their fire attack on it. This is where they committed a mistake. The fire enveloped the tornado, and it became a fire tornado. Usually I used this move, but because I couldn't use fire, I had to just use a basic wind tornado. Everything was in my favour. I added a little lightning to the tornado, and it was a disaster for our opponents. Two of them went flying, whereas one of them got burned. They all surrendered in no time. This was a clear victory for us. And the one who had got the victory was me.

Everyone praised me for using such a powerful move, except for Zarek. He didn't say anything. Mo and Me kept telling me that, once everyone starts getting to use their powers properly, this move would be useless against any opponents. But I didn't care as for now I knew that this move was good enough for the phase-1 of the test. We all celebrated our second victory. It was a fun party. After that, we all went to our rooms. My parents called me in the night. I talked to them. They also congratulated me for my win. I kept on talking about what the tests for the Advanced Warrior exams were and how easy it was. I told them about everything that had happened until now. After all of this, I went to sleep.

The next day, we went to our third fight, which was in arena 2. We had info on our next opponent. They were friends, and knew how to co-ordinate their powers together. They were very much like a team, unlike us. That is why, we had decided to work as a team in this fight, and destroy their ultimate defence barrier. Caelia was in the middle, and we surrounded her. We had decided to use long range attacks at them. If they wanted a close-combat fight, then they had to come to us. We had to guarantee Caelia's safety as she was the only healer in our team, as Laimas's healing was very basic. 4 of Asralyn's cannons were next to Caelia, to protect her from any danger.

3! 2! 1! START!!!

The fight started. Zarek started off with his

-Thorn Punch

It was basically many thorny vines together in a shape of an arm. Our opponents' defence was very strong. So, our plan was to attack at the same time, to break their defences first. Laimus used

-Rock Fall

Many rocks fell from the sky. The defence cracked with the power of these two moves. Caelia used

-Water beam

Water with immense pressure shot out towards the shield. Asralyn used

-Triple canon

Three canons together formed a bigger and stronger cannon. The attack power from it was great. Then, I, used my move

-Special Move-Rage of Ice

Ice spread throughout the arena. And then, from the ice spread in the ground, I could make huge needles. With around 6 needles, we were able to destroy their defence. After their defence was destroyed, all their members were taken aback. I held Laimas's hand and summoned my spear. I threw the spear, but everyone dodged it. I teleported to my spear with Laimas. He then summoned his spear, and with his powers took down one of them with ease. Zarek's Thorn punch was still active, and knocked another one out. I knocked out one of the enemies, by using rage of ice, which was still active. Asralyn used two of her triple cannons to take care of the remaining two. 4 out of the 5 got defeated. The remaining one, absorbed his weapon, and used the power of the soul. He was strong.

We all went stepped back. None of us wanted to use more power than necessary. Asralyn, then teleported behind him, using her powers and then hit him with her

-Quadruple cannon

With 4 cannons, the move was undoubtably very strong. Zarek, who usually did not care about other's attacks, because of how strong he was, actually got impressed by that attack. We had won. The fight was over.

We all, once again came out victorious, without any injuries. With the way the things were going, no one could have stopped us. Suddenly, we got a message which said,

'As of now, teams can change their members, or even recruit defeated team members. This is because of some members of some teams, either want to join a different team or are very badly injured, and will not be able to continue fighting. Fighting with less than 5 members in a team is also allowed from now. Hope that you all do good in tomorrow's fight.'

Zarek immediately stood up, and left. I thought that he had forgotten to do something very important and left. We continued to party, and then left for our rooms. The next day, we left for Arena 4, for our final team battle. When we reached the arena, we saw something that we didn't expect. There were only 4 members in the opposing team. We all felt bad for them. Zarek was the most displeased. He kept saying, that they will be in a huge disadvantage with less members, but he had to do it. He usually wanted to fight on even terms, so that is why he was sad that the fight was going to unfair! And then the match started.
