Chapter 2 : I am.... (2)

Murong Shu:" Let's go and see how those ladies are doing" he smirks as he slowly walks toward the location of the stone gate. The rest of the henchmen chuckles and laugh as they can imagine what they will do to those ladies soon.

As Bing Lian and her fellow sisters have been discussing about the stone gate while they were resting for a short while. All of a sudden they can hear a faint roar not too in the distance. As cultivator obviously they have better senses that mortals even if they lower realm.

Chen Li:" can you hear that Lian-er" ask worriedly. Chen Li, one of Bing Lian close fellow sisters of the Academy and childhood friends belonging to the Chen family of the Central Region. Not as well-known as the Bing clan but can be consider a medium clan. As someone whom grew up with Bing Lian whom studies and research a lot about past events and history. She may not be a genius in cultivation but she is smart enough to know that something is very wrong.

Bing Lian:" Something is definitely wrong, judging by that roar, it could be a strong beast out hunting but we haven't encounter any beast on our way here..." she said while thinking deeply about their situation until it finally dawns on her. A though that she didn't pay attention to since they rush their way here. Not even one beast encounters this deep inside the forest until now. Then faintly she hopes that her suspicion was wrong.

Bing Lian:" Li-er! Sisters! We have to go now! "She shout to her friends and fellow sister. Her shout surprises them and judging from her tone, they could guess that something is wrong. However, it was too late, they have realized it far too late. Spending that one hour trying to break the stone gate allows that scheme of Murong Shu to fully blooms.

Out of nowhere a body of a small puppy was thrown to their location from above the cliff not far from away. When the puppy landed on the ground, its body was badly bleeding from multiple cuts all around its body. Blood was leaking out constantly and from the looks of it, it would be dying shorty. Clearly it was badly injured prior to being thrown from the cliff.

As Bing Lian and her fellow sister notice that puppy, their face became pale white and sweat starting to form on their back. They knew that it was too late to run away and flee as they are trap. For 2 reason, first they could guess that they were scheme by Murong Shu and a trap have been laid for them and they are already caught within it. Second was that they knew what kind of beast that puppy was. To be more precise it was a demonic wolf cub and they knew a lot about it as they study it back in the Academy. A Demonic Wolf is a beast that has the strength between Mid Rank to High Rank from youth to maturity which can only be match by cultivator of the Late Mortal Realm Toward Early Spirit Realm. One of the most troublesome aspect of the Demonic Wolf is that it never travels alone, as they always travel in packs and they are overprotective of their own kin.

Chen Li:" We are in trouble Lian-er!" she cried out as she knows there's not much time left.

Bing Lian:" I am sorry Li-er and my fellow sisters, this is all my fault for not paying attention and letting my guard down due to my own interest" she said with a tinge of sorrow to her voice. As the pearl of the Bing Clan, she does have some treasure for protection however they can only fend off Spirit Realm at best and for how long she can use it for depends on her own cultivation. With her rank 2 Spirit Realm cultivation she can definitely defeat others in the same realm or flee if she can't. However, judging by their location deep within the mountain, there's only a few cliffs out of their reach and the rest is the way down toward the foot of the mountain where the pack of Demonic Wolf is coming.

Chen Li:" Lian-er we can't blame you for this as it's clearly not your fault, it's definitely that bastard Murong Shu who trap us" she consoles Bing Lian as she swears in regards to those males' cultivator and their ancestor for being lowlife and scum. "Yeah senior sisters, it's definitely their fault" the other sisters join in as they shown the sisterly bond that they share with each other. As they say a friend in need is a friend indeed.

Bing Lian:" Thank you" she said with a voice in deep emotion while drops of tears fell down her cheek. She knew she had to be strong so she wipes it off quickly and she shouted out with a voice brimming with anger and fury "Sisters we now face with a scheme by that wicked Murong Shu and are trap with our back against the wall, should we overcome this trial, I swear in the name of the Bing Clan that I will get even with this Murong Shu!!!". All of the sisters' eyes flash with fury and justice to get even with Murong Shu.

With anger and fury as well as their sisterly bonds combine they began to formulate a defence plan with what man power they have. Clearly with just 4 of them which is far from enough, especially since their cultivation realm consist of one Bing Lian rank 2 Spirit Realm while Chen Li is a rank 7 Mortal realm and the last 2 sisters are both rank 5 Mortal Realm.

With Bing Lian in front to fight the majority while Chen Li and the other 2 support her as they aren't strong enough to fight multiple Demonic Wolf. Beside Bing Lian protective treasure she also uses a slender silver sword made just for her by her Clan however its rank is only Peak Mortal Rank as Spirit Realm Sword Rank is very hard to obtain even for her clan as its very hard to craft and the material is also very rare. At the moment only Elders and Sect Master across the Central Region of the Renxing Continent are known to be in possession of such weapon. Chen Li and the others only have different type of swords but still within the same rank of Early Mortal Rank.

As they quickly prepare their defensive formation, the pack of Demonic Wolf finally arrives and what greeted Bing Lian and the others was how numerous they were. By estimation they could see that it was more than 100 Demonic Wolf, luckily however they can only see so far are a lot of Low Rank and a few Mid Rank Demonic Wolf.

Bing Lian:" Sisters! Stay behind me and support me when you see an opening when the Wolf attack, slash and cut them as best you can, display your martial skills and show these beasts that we of the Celestial Academy are not to be mess with!!" She shouted as she encourages them as much as possible. Unity is key to their survival and a battle of attrition is coming for them.
