A Bitter Pill

Joanne never imagined that a day like this would come in her life.

Why didn't Kathleen tell her that day at Wyatt Corporations that she was the daughter of Director Wyatt? It would have saved her today's embarrassment.

If she had just mentioned it once, it would have made her want to verify if it was true and today's bucket of shame wouldn't have been emptied on her.

"But truth be told, even if she had told me, I would have taken it as her spewing nonsense. It would have been practically impossible to believe such a ridiculous claim from Kathleen seeing the way it took Mrs Wyatt's statement to convince me at their residence."

She also remembered that Kathleen had mentioned it somewhere in their argument earlier today that she was Director Wyatt's daughter but she hadn't taken her seriously.

She had always known that that good for nothing girl was too "black bellied" to be up to any good.
