Chapter 6 planning

Adelia's P.O.V.

The lantern was slowly burning to the end while the sun was already haft way up. The planning for the best outcome of strategies for the formation till the techniques was getting complicated, I realized that I need to trained the western soldiers the proper techniques and formation like the East. Not only I missed a few reports yesterday, I am adding a few more report to save face.

"Working too hard?" I looked up by the door to see Kelian standing beside the frame of the entrance, leaning his body towards it and crossing his arm while smiling and looking at me.

"Perfect timing! I was thinking if the emperor approves to help the west nation maybe passing through the farehiya sands is safer and beneficial?" I asked showing him the outline of the map.

"We'll be passing by Kurkis Lane" he pointed out

"Yes and I think it's a great way to restock some food rather than salty dehydrated meals" I said moving the paper towards him.

He made his way towards the desk, picking up the paper in front of him and reading what I wrote. I patiently waited as he read throughout the new plan I made. "You need to consult Renekal first to see if this can be beneficial to us, but I must say, this plan is very good" he commented as he hands me the paper.

"He should be here in a hour" I said as I started rolling the paper and securing it with a tie, I stood up from my desk and headed over to Renakal's desk.

"Made any progress? I assume you've been here for quite some time" Kelian said as he made his way towards his desk, pulling the drawer beside him and grabbing some documents.

"I've been here since the sun started to peak" I said going to his desk and pouring him tea

"Looks like you'll be gone again by the afternoon?" he guessed .

"You know how important afternoon tea to me is" I said looking at him and flashing him a smile as I offered the tea cup to him

"Afternoon tea? That's the first, don't you mean nap" he grabbed the cup from me and returning the smile back.

"Well, at least you'll get to evaluate my strategies first" I said pushing the piling papers towards him.

"Well let's see which one here gets rejected" he pulled the paper towards him.

"Wait!" I immediately put my hand back on the paper as tried to pull it back.

"No no you passed already with your seal" He said pulling it even more near him.

"I realized that I still have some revisions to do" I grab his hands and halting his actions even more.

"Quality over quantity" he said removing my hand and grabbing the stacks of paper and reaching his hands on the brush.

"Now go away. I have work to do" he said as he began reading throughout my work. As I straighten my back and pouted, I quickly went back to my desk and fixed the stack of papers.

A knock echoed throughout the room as we dart our eyes towards the entrance of the room "I am sorry for disturbing you Lord Keilian and Lady Adelia, his majesty is summoning you and the rest of the strategist in the main conference hall" the court messenger informed us.

"What about Weilia and Renekal?" I ask "Were they informed?" I continued.

"Yes my lady, they are already heading towards the hall as we speak" He continued

"All right, let's go" I began grabbing my documents and locking it the chest, Keilian did the same thing as I waited for him by the entrance.

"This better be entertaining" He muttered beside me as we walked to the main conference hall.
