"𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬. 𝘐 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 '𝘐𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭' 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘤𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘐'𝘮 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴, 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘕𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘴'𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘦."

It's around eight at night, all students should be in their respective dormitories by now, but a couple of them have snuck out, including the fool. He ends up stalking a couple of them from a distance.

"You're uh sure this is gonna work right? Right?" says one of them shaking very nervously.

"Of course I am, we just need to meet this one guy around here, and he will just give us our stuff and we will be on our way to being nice good students."

"Well, you do seem quite calm and relaxed about this so I'll trust you."

"Relaaaax, it will be fine, I know the guy personally he's a friend of a friend."

"That does make things more convincing."

A man dressed in a full cloak quietly walks toward them.

"Customers?"

"Y-Yes."

He opens up his cloak and grabs two bottles, one green, and one red.

"I don't know which one of you ordered the strong one, but in that case, it's the red one, I'm sure you can work this amongst yourselves, I will be taking my leave now."

The man walks away slowly

"H-Hey you didn't tell me anything about a strong d-drug, I just wanted to relax."

"Well I didn't either I thought I just asked for some tame stuff."

"W-Wait are you saying? You didn't order this?"

"𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘵𝘴. 𝘐'𝘮 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘴."

"Hey, you two, don't touch those potions until I'm back, give me a couple of minutes and stay put."

"B-But we were supposed to go back to sleep now."

"Shut up, you're annoying."

The fool chases the man but cannot seem to find him, the only place he could've gone to just seems to be a dead end.

"𝘏𝘮𝘮𝘮, 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴? 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘯? 𝘖𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘕𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘴? 𝘚𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘴𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘨𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵."

"I don't know how he escaped but he did, anyways you two, hand over the potions."

"No why would we do that."

"Yea why would we."

"Do you really want me to tell the teachers about this?"

"Well."

"That's what I thought, now hand it over."

"Fine."

"Drugs and stuff are useless alright, there's no point gaining power and strength you haven't worked for."

"Oh shut up, you're not even that strong yourself, and I'm sure all the big leagues use them"

"Just because someone else uses a shortcut, doesn't mean you need to as well. And if you really want to test my strength, you can go ahead and duel me."

"Hey I wouldn't really duel him, I heard some pretty bad stuff about him."

"Like what?"

"Well, he's an outcast alright just move on with your life instead of trying to cause problems."

"Fine, fine. At least we weren't caught."

"Good. Now good night, I need my sleep as well."

The fool walks back to his dormitory quite tired and troubled.

"𝘚𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴. Instead, he just decided to sleep in Novis's bed out of tiredness.

"Wha- why didn't you go to your bed."

"Sh, go back to sleep."

"But. Ugh, fine."

The two of them slept quite well although Novis was a little annoyed.

Unusually enough the fool woke up first but decided to lay down on the top bunk bed before Novis woke up, although in doing so he woke him up.

"What time is it."

"Seven Thirty."

"I guess I should wake up."

Novis just assumes everything is normal, he gets up and lets out a big yawn whilst stretching. He eventually looks back at the bed seeing the fool hanging off from the bed with a magnifying lens.

"Uh, what are you doing."

"Come on Novis, clearly I was waiting on you, there are mysteries to solve young Novis, mysteries so important the whole school is at stake! You must come with me and-"

"I'm going to the bathroom"

"But-" he shuts the door on him

"Not much of a fun guy in the morning huh."

"𝘔𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴? 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵, 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨."

Novis brushes his teeth and styles his hair as usual, although he may call it styling, in reality, he's just making it look slightly neater than his normal bedhead.

"So you're telling me. That we need to solve some sort of mystery now?"

"Precisely," He says whilst standing very confidently with his magnifying glass.

"Well, what's it about?"

"Drugs."

"Drugs? Couldn't you have said that sooner?"

"You make a fair point, anyways-"

"DON'T JUST SAY ANYWAYS, YOU SHOULD SAY THE IMPORTANT STUFF SOONER."

"I'M SORRY ALRIGHT IT WAS COOLER THIS WAY."

"COOLER OR NOT IF IT'S IMPORTANT JUST-"

"OK OK CAN WE JUST MOVE ON."

"Ugh, sometimes Luce, sometimes."

"Oh I love messing with you, anyways yes last night two students received 'drug' potions."

"Why would they do that?"

"No clue, but apparently it was supposed to be for relaxation or maybe some magic enhancements."

"Hmmm, anything else?"

"The man said that the red potion is stronger than the green one, but when I tried to pursue him, he vanished out of thin air."

"This does raise a lot of questions."

"Exactly what I thought, but what should we do first."

"I suppose getting the potions analyzed first would be nice, then maybe we should question the students."

"That sounds like a good start, today is our day off after all."

"Do you want to split off or?"

"Of course not, you're staying with me."

"Alright alright."

The two of them went to Miss Roccia to get the potions checked up, they get there quite quickly and knock on the door.

"Miss Roccia? May we come in?"

The fool opens the door not caring about what the response is.

"Hey Luce that's-"

They find her with two needles, and a very small red gem, Novis doesn't see this but the fool notices a slight green tint deep within the gem.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE."

She accidentally pushes one needle a little too deep into the gem causing it to explode in her face.

"Ugh, look at what you did, next time just stay there and wait."

The fool laughs at her face full of charcoal whilst Novis uses his water to get rid of it.

"So what did you two want, this better be important."

"Oh, yes, we happen to find these potions and wanted to know what they did."

The fool places the potions in front of Miss Roccia.

"Hmm, where did you find them?"

The potions are quite big, they seem to be capable of holding at least half a liter of whatever is in them, the bottle cap is quite neatly put in but overall it seems normal enough apart from the color.

"It's a long story but supposedly they are drugs."

"Drugs? You realize that's illegal right."

"Well of course, but you're the best person to learn more about them."

"I do love discovering new things, may I use the entire bottle?"

"Sure as long as you tell us what's in it."

"Well, it will take at least a couple of days to understand what this whole thing is, come back on Tuesday. to find out"

"Alright, thanks a lot, Miss Roccia."

"Thank you."

"Yeah yeah just go."

They leave the laboratory and stay near the door.

"So now all we've got to do is interrogate the two students."

"Do you remember what they look like? Or their name?"

"One of them had greenish hair and was super annoying, he looked like a nerd, the other guy had brownish hair but nothing too defining."

"Guess we should go find the 'nerd'"

"Sounds great."

They start looking around the whole school and even in some classrooms, eventually they end up in the outside area of the school where most of the popular students go, although some go there to read since it's almost like a park.

The fool sees the green-haired student walking very oddly in the distance

"Hey Novis, that's him right there." He points in the general direction.

"Oh, you mean Nathan?"

"That's his name?"

"Yea I know him, I didn't think he would do drugs though, maybe there's more to this than we think"

"Either way let's question him."

Nathan realizes the fool is walking straight towards him and starts panicking a lot.

"𝘖𝘩 𝘯𝘰 𝘰𝘩 𝘯𝘰 𝘰𝘩 𝘯𝘰 𝘰𝘩 𝘯𝘰 𝘕𝘖𝘛 𝘏𝘐𝘔 𝘈𝘕𝘠𝘖𝘕𝘌 𝘉𝘜𝘛 𝘏𝘐𝘔, 𝘐 𝘚𝘗𝘌𝘊𝘐𝘍𝘐𝘊𝘈𝘓𝘓𝘠 𝘞𝘌𝘕𝘛 𝘏𝘌𝘙𝘌 𝘉𝘌𝘊𝘈𝘜𝘚𝘌 𝘐 𝘏𝘌𝘈𝘙𝘋 𝘏𝘌 𝘋𝘖𝘌𝘚𝘕'𝘛 𝘎𝘖 𝘏𝘌𝘙𝘌"

"STAY BACK, I DON'T WANT ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS."

Everyone starts staring at them

"Calm down we're not here to hurt you."

"HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT, IM OUT OF HERE."

He starts running as fast as he can.

"Some people am I right Novis."

"Some people indeed Luce."

"We should probably chase after him."

"He's surprisingly slow isn't he."

"Oh right you reminded me, he has asthma, so I doubt he'll even run far."

"Poor kid."

"Did he stop now?"

"He seems to be coughing pretty bad."

"Let's just walk up to him."

After traversing a measly 700 meters they caught up to him.

"Hey."

"HOW ARE YOU HERE, AND WHY, JUST GO AWAY ALREADY."
