The fool was quite perplexed by this. He thought that all kingdoms were just connected with a set easy path and done, and with his plan in mind this might cause some complications depending on how dangerous these wastelands truly are.
"How bad are these wastelands?" Asks the interested fool. The lady then starts to despair a little and replies with
"That terrible place is almost impossible to get past, that's why wars almost never happen, there are so many beasts both strong and agile that come at day, night, any time it doesn't matter. Even a Dragon could appear for God's sake, it all depends on the person and I had to spend quite a lot of money to even get here, all of my life savings even"
The fool gets invested in this place and is quite eager to visit it after finishing up his business with all these overconfident royals.
"Well thanks for telling me about all of this young lady, and don't worry. I'm sure soon this place will crumble down so if I were you I'd focus on getting somewhere safe." says the fool with goodwill in his voice.
"Why young lady? you don't even seem that old yourself?" says the curious lady. "Didn't you know curiosity killed the cat?" The woman got quiet after this, yet still felt slightly relieved of her situation.
The fool then explores more of the prison, he encounters people from all the Kingdoms like the Rock, Ice and the one he's currently in, the Thunder Kingdom.
But for some reason there's one Kingdom missing, there's supposed to be 4 not just 3. The fool thinks in his mind "Which Kingdom was it again? There's Rock, and Ice yes the lady of course and this is the Thunder one. What's the last one?"
He then walks to a random prisoner and questions him "Hey there prisoner, what are all four Kingdoms?" The prisoner looks quite bulky but decently dumb. He's wearing the normal uniform like all other prisoners which is just Purple and Light Green stripes.
And he says "Huh? aren't you supposed to be in a cell?" The fool looks quite annoyed at this and starts breaking the bar of the prisoners cell with his bare fist and says "Answer. Now."
The prisoner is instantly shaken and nervously tells him "Well I'm pretty sure it's Thunder, Ice, Rock and Sound. Shouldn't you know this too?"
The fool then smiles at him and just leaves thinking "To think they'd make Sound an element. And speaking of which, where even is this Sound prisoner?"
The fool then notices that there's one last cell in the prison he hasn't exactly checked out yet. It is a barred up door fully black and fully made of metal with only one keyhole.Although the keyhole looks normal the mechanic of it inside is far more complex. This door intrigues the fool but as he approaches the door a guard looks over at him and yells
"HEY YOU, STOP IT. HALT"
The fool does not stop, he does not care for the opinion of someone so far beneath him, after all unless the information is actually useful there's no point in idle chit chat.
The guard then walks right up to him and looks at him straight in the face saying "HEY, I told you to stop you prisoner. This door leads to an insanely violent prisoner from the sound Kingdom, we were paid a great amount of money to hold him here so don't you dare go near him"
The fool then looks at the guard, grabs his face and lets him know how inferior and weak he is
"Listen here alright? As long as I'm in this prison nothing you can do to stop me,
Fear. Me."
The guard is then released and runs away as if his life was about to flash just before his eyes.
The fool proceeds towards the door attempting to open it but to no avail. So instead of just brute forcing through it he would rather instead put his gloved hand on the lock.
And slowly but surely he turns his hand and the door opens up.
It was quite simple really all he did was have his magic become the same shape a key would inside the lock and then proceed to making it solid enough to create a key of light.
Upon opening the door all he sees is a pitch black room with only one small window with a chained up man attached to the wall.
He is not dressed like every other prisoner and instead he's wearing dark clothes and a cape. He seems to have quite the particular design with most of his clothes being either black or brown leather and with many pockets in which he could hide a variety of items,
He's also wearing a tricorn hat which is quite interesting for a man in a prison.
He appears to have a mask but it seems to be lowered towards his neck.
And the mysterious man says with a roughed up tone "Hey Mister, that light trick you did was really blinding. Maybe warn someone before doing that"
The fool chuckles a little at this and closes the door and sits next to this stranger.
He then has a chat with him "Alright it was my mistake there, But what are you doing here in a messed up place like this?"
The man appears a little angered by this but answers either way "My brother payed this Royal fuck to put me down here.
Because I wasn't worthy of being King he says" The fool is even more intrigued by this man "Oh really now? Did you know I'm also a King?"
. The mysterious man laughs and says "Sure sure aren't we all?" The fool gets a little annoyed at this and starts to think less of this man.
They continue to have some conversations leading onto the mysterious prisoner being named Doremifa but the fool not sharing his name.
The fool curiously asks "Hey Doremifa? What's up with all your pockets and stuff? What's your magic?" He seems a little aggravated by the question but still answers "Well the truth is I have little to no magic power. But my strength and sword mastery is unrivalled to none"
The fool then asks him to arm wrestle as he instantly cuts the chain attaching him to the wall with a burst of light and goes to grab a barrel.
In the meantime Doremifa thinks to himself "This guy sure is weird, that blinding light magic gets on my nerves but I've never seen anything like it. Strange."
The fool comes back with the barrel and says "Alright you think you're tough? Just wait till you see me" As he pumps himself up he gets very hot blooded about this simple arm wrestling contest
although Doremifa isn't amused at all thinking that he will win no matter what. But as their hands clasp together and with the fool having the eyes of pure focus and seriousness they begin their contest of strength.
The two seem to struggle at the start but the fool seems to have the upper hand, Doremifa gets enraged and says "HEY STOP CHEATING." clearly very mad at the fool, making him gain more strength but less respect from the foolish king himself.
In the end the victor is clear, the fool wins by smashing the barrel and his arm.
Doremifa is indeed quite strong but not as strong as the man known as the fool.
He then lets him know "You're quite strong but you just had an unfair opponent." he recklessly yells at him "YOU MUST HAVE CHEATED, HOW DID YOU DO IT"
visibly annoyed and tired by all this he knocks the second rate Sound King out with no remorse and thinks
"He was strong too but clearly a sore loser. What a shame" He then walks out the room to go back to his cell to sleep.
