The Fifth House: Galegold

Did you really think that Hogwarts only had four founders? No, my friend, you should not believe what the history books say, because reality always has its hidden cards and sometimes it decides to use them at the most unexpected moment. How shall we say… now? When the unknown heir to the fifth house receives the letter from the famous College of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After an absence of almost a millennium, it is time for everyone to know the truth, whether they like it or not. I do not own Harry Potter or any other universe that will appear except the MC.

Is that all?

Waking up was not very pleasant, if I had to say how he felt then it would be a terrible hangover, even though he never had one. Not only that, but he had apparently spent almost a week asleep and was the only one left in the infirmary still affected by the events of the quidditch match.

And when he woke up, the first thing he had to do was to face Hermione's questioning, about how he did what he did. She and Silvia practiced the Patronus, but it was nowhere near as powerful as his. Fortunately, Silvia placated Hermione and for that she earned a grateful look from Soisen.

Right now she was in no mood to discuss anything.

Pomfrey ordered him to rest for three more days and Soisen was bored during his entire absence, since apart from drinking bad tasting potions, sleeping, eating and getting up to go to the bathroom, he couldn't do much else.

He wasn't even allowed to read a book!

Come on!

When he left the infirmary, students were looking at him and whispering around him, which he didn't find too pleasant. Little did he know that after the performance on the quidditch pitch, he earned a good portion of fame.

The reason?

Among other things, it turns out that the Ministry wanted to burst into Hogwarts asking him for explanations about the destroyed Dementors. Not only imposing a hefty fine that would have ruined even a pureblood family, but they even considered that he was purposely attacking the Ministry and wanted to take him to Azkaban for a month as a lesson.

Dumbledore was not very happy about the actions of the Dementors and the Ministry of Magic Aurors ended up walking out of Hogwarts, as if they had been set on fire on their backsides.

Soisen sighed in relief that the "charges" were dropped quickly after that. It would have been a pain in the ass to deal with the Ministry because of the stupid decision of some incompetent superiors who overestimated themselves.

If he really had been forced, he would cash in on the debts and favors the Galegold family had on the pureblood families to force them to act. He would have to think of some measure to stop the Ministry from trying to overstep its bounds, perhaps he could talk to Gringotts to see if he could cripple the British wizarding economy in case of emergency.

No way would I go to Azkaban for political idiots!

Fortunately for the Ministry of Magic, he was not a vindictive person.

Over the next few months, Soisen was "forced" by Hermione and Silvia, to teach them more things to defend themselves in their secret place. The teachers handed him a completely different level of homework compared to his peers and it was no longer necessary for the others to feel small.

Soisen was delighted to be able to accelerate his studies, unaware of how the teachers were sweating to be able to prepare his additional assignments.

-Minerva, you have to succeed! -they thought with an aching heart.

During one of her moments of study, she was alerted to the magic she left behind in the Shrieking House. He didn't even remember it until it jumped out.

-I think I should prepare myself," he muttered.

In the end, he decided not to use Lupin or the Marauder's Map. The map was too useful and risking losing it just to increase Sirius Black's desperation wasn't worth it, no matter how good it might sound.

(Convenient time jump)

Things didn't go exactly as they should, but everything turned out as he wanted it to.

By levitating a piece of stinky cheese, it was a simple matter to make "Scabbers" run off into Boxing Willow range while Soisen remained hidden. Sirius appeared in his animagic black dog form, mistaking himself for the Grim and dragged Ron into the hole in the willow.

Potter, unsurprisingly, chased him without thinking for a single second, only he didn't pay attention to why the willow didn't attack him.

Why should it when he went into a lethargic state with a simple sleep spell?

Currently, Sirius snatched Potter's wand (normal, being the difference of an adult and a barely teenager) and was spouting his monologue about how he was innocent.

Blah, blah, blah...

Snape appeared and with a wave of his wand, disarmed Sirius and looked at him triumphantly. What he didn't notice, was that the wand that went flying, ended up at Potter's feet and picking it up before anyone noticed, he knocked Snape out to try to find out the whole truth of what happened to his parents.

Now, Hermione wasn't in the room and no one mentioned the Marauder's Map. All thanks to Soisen's interference in the plot.

But, now is when he intervenes again.

-This is all very interesting," he echoed in the room, startling Ron, Potter and Black, who looked around trying to locate the source of the voice without success.

Potter saw a red light and the wand he held trembling shot out for the third time in the last few minutes.

-You have a weak grip, Potter," Soisen canceled his spells and appeared before everyone as if out of nowhere, while holding the wand that at this rate would be known as the flying wand.

-What are you doing here? -asked Ron.

-Is it true what you said? -Soisen ignored Ron completely and looked at Sirius. Ron's rat is Peter?

-Who the hell are you? -Black raised his guard at the sight of a stranger.

-The one who can give you a chance to prove if you're just mad or if you're telling the truth- Soisen wasn't going to be polite to Black- No, freeze-he noticed how Potter seemed to want to tackle him to get his wand back, so he cast a simple spell to glue his feet to the ground- Again, is it true what you said? -I ask Black.

-Of course it is! -Sirius said, thinking he could clear his name.

-That's not possible! -Ron protested. "Scabbers has been in my family for?

-Twelve years? A curiously long life for a common field rat," Black burst out, "He's missing a finger, isn't he?

Ron was in denial. Scabbers had been his best friend since he was little, they ate, slept and showered together. He also told him all his secrets, complaints and hidden fantasies.

Didn't that mean...?

-And all they found on Peter Petigrew was..." Potter finished.

-A finger! That's right, the bastard cut it off to frame me and fake his death! -Sirius shouted as he snatched the rat from Ron.

-Show him," Soisen held out Potter's wand, "If it's true, do the animagus counterspell and reveal Peter. But I warn you, if you try to trick us and I'll put you out of action and hand you over to the Dementors.

Sirius had not the slightest doubt and taking the wand, he waved it several times at the fleeing rat on top of the piano in the room.

The counter spell hit the rat and... nothing happened.

-Well, that settles it," said Soisen, trying to contain a huge grin, "You're crazy and nothing more.
