"Look at you all. Do you resemble the respected women of the Si clan's? The old master looked at the three women and spoke with a disdain. He couldn't believe that these women who were with them would act in such an immature manner.

"The manner and reactions you are showing are not what I expect from young miss and the Madam of the Si clan," he continued, shifting his attention to his granddaughter, Si Huan. Scolding Si Huan, he then turned his stern gaze towards Madam Si Jia and Old Madam Si Jiaxin. "You two appear more miserable. Old Madam Si Jia and Old Madam Si Jiaxin looked their surroundings. They noticed the maids bowing their heads in acknowledgment and respect.

Seeing this made them embarrassed.

"Remember, all of you are Si women. Never show fear or weakness to anyone. Now, all of you, depart from here. I have matters to discuss with Hunar (Young Master Si) and Junar (Master Si)."

The three women, along with all the maids, left the scene, leaving the three men alone.

Old Master Si Hong turned to his son and grandson, with a serious expression he said . "Don't worry, Hunar. I have already made preparations. You will be residing in the Gu Province Palace, which was previously the royal family palace of the Gu dynasty. You will have full security and protection there. I have also arranged for a few doctors and nurses to take care of your health."

Both Master Si and Young Master Si were taken aback by this revelation.

"But father, His Royal Highness didn't mention anything about Hunar living in the Palace in the recent royal decree. And he didn't mention sending doctors or guards with Hunar either," Master Si voiced his concerns.

Old Master Si smirked and replied, "When did I say that His Royal Highness gave this order? I made these arrangements for my grandson. He is going to a place that will provide us with opportunities to become even richer and more powerful."

He walked over to Young Master Si, placing both hands on his grandson's arms. With a serious gaze, he looked into his eyes and said, "Remember, Hunar, you must fully capitalize on this situation."

"Grandfather, are you suggesting..." Young Master Si started, realizing something.

"Yes, my grandson , yes," the Old Master affirmed. "Gu Province, being the most severely affected province, has made it easier for us to proceed with our plan. We can offer higher wages to the poor people who are desperate to earn money. We will use them and manipulate the workers, ensuring their silence and increased productivity to complete the work faster."

Old Master Si's strategy was now clear to Master Si and Young Master Si. They had satisfied looks on their faces and cunning smiles.

"Father, that's a great idea. In fact, I had recently been considering doing the same," Master Si said.

Old Master Si looked at his son mockingly and retorted, "Oh, really? Then why haven't I heard a single word about it until now? If I weren't here, you wouldn't have taken any action either."

In the Huxia Palace, Jin Yuchen scanned his surroundings, searching for Gu Hui. After unable to find her, he asked Court Lady Mingxhe to ask about her whereabouts.

"Your Royal Highness, Ah Du must be somewhere in the palace," Court Lady Mingxhe replied.

"Ah Du?" Jin Yuchen's face was filled with confusion. He then asked , "Who is Ah Du?"

"Ah Du is her name, Your Royal Highness. She is a very sweet young girl and a quick learner. Within a few days, she has familiarized herself with many of the palace's rules, regulations, and her duties," Court Lady Mingxhe responded, her face adorned with a smile. Ah Du had become like a daughter to her.

Jin Yuchen nodded his head and gestured for Court Lady Mingxhe to leave.

"Ah Du, interesting," Jin Yuchen murmured, a smirk playing on his lips.

He couldn't quite explain it, but knowing her name some how brought him a sense of happiness.

Unknown to him, Gu Hui was already in the route to the Gu Province. Her stomach growled with hunger, and her throat felt dried with thirst. However, her only focus and concern was on reaching the Gu Province.
