Zirkos, Ruler Of The Abyss

"F-Father..?"

All of their cores were shaken.

They were frozen in fear when he came, emerging from the darkness with a deceptively beautiful appearance.

Holding the body of King Hayden by its hair, dragging it out.

Upon witnessing, they shivered violently, horrified at the sight.

"No, No…"

Zephyr's whole world came to a halt when he saw his Father's body laying before his very eyes.

Burned with endless bruises, laying as a piece of flesh.

"Ah… how long has it been since I entered the human world?"

The handsome man released a low, seductive chuckle.

Pushing his hair behind, observing the air and inhaling it to indulge in the sensation of it.

"Who- Who are you?" Lady Red snarled, trying to sound angry but failed.

Rising from the ground, collecting her strength while all of them were immobilized at his overwhelming aura and wicked smirk.

Arching an eyebrow perfectly, he stopped wallowing in the environment and turned to her.

"Hmmm?"

In a second, he was before her.

Her body flinched the second he stared dead into her eyes with the unnerving smirk, holding her chin.

"Did your pathetic book not mention that I am Zirkos, the ruler of the Abyss, Darling?" He declared.

Observing her body, making her convulse under that sharp, licentious gaze that sends chills to her core.

"W-What?" She gasped, moving back from him.

"Indeed. It is me."

Releasing a wicked laugh, he extended his hands out, loving each second of it.

The looks he received, the anguish of their king's body. All of it enraptured the cruel creature.

"You…." Zephyr scowled.

Narrowing his watery eyes. His laugh came as a stain on his whole bloodline.

It felt like he was mocking his Father's death- he was, obviously.

Ending his laugh, he held his sides, his eyes moving around but his menacing smile was not removing.

"Anyways, where is that idiot who summoned me? I must thank him-"

Losing himself in wrath, Zephyr took out his dagger and came to attack him.

"I am not talking to you." He spoke authoritatively.

Releasing a darkness which made everyone fall on their knees except Zephyr.

Not bothering to move an inch and holding his wrist, twisting it and pushing him to the ground, moving his wrist until it broke.

"Ahh!"

Zephyr screamed from pain, unable to move when he kept him down, rendering him unable to move.

"Zephyr!"

Everyone called, powerless before this creature who could kill them without a second- he will.

But, what fun would be in that according to him.

"How dare you… Father!" Zephyr hissed, bearing with the pain.

Turning to glare at Zirkos who merely smiled at his struggling, pleasing him with his futile attempt and mourning.

He was entertaining him.

"Your Father is dead. That thoughtless human thought he could defeat me or seal me back so I showed him reality." Zirkos told him calmly.

Straightening his back and putting his foot over him as a display of suppression and their undeniable vulnerability.

"… Damn.. you-"

He coughed up blood when he ended up kicking the prince for daring to use wrong words.

Holding his stomach from immense pain, Zephyr curled like a ball. Disturbed by the circumstances.

Not caring about his condition slightly, he grabbed his hair and forced him to stand.

Showing them the Prince they trusted with their future was so weak.

"Listen little prince, one sentence and your life will fall apart." He whispered huskily in his ears with a suppressed chuckle, horrifying him.

His eyes widened, unable to lift a finger at this point.

Only staring into nothingness.

He knew one wrong move and the hope his people had would die.

"Zirkos."

Shutting his eyes, Zephyr swallowed hard, calling him hopelessly.

"Hmm?"

He paused, furrowing his brows to wait for his offer. That was what he wanted after all. He had no interest in those people after all.

"Let my people go. Kill me, do whatever you want but spare my people-"

Before Zephyr could plead with him to at least release his people, Zirkos threw him away and broke into a laugh, evil laugh.

"Your people!?"

The sound of his laugh made everyone disgusted. Holding his stomach, he took his most amusement from the juvenile boy.

"Oh boy, oh boy, I am sorry to inform you that it is no longer your kingdom. No one wants a pathetic king like you. I am taking over this kingdom."

"What…?"

Shaking his head in denial shakily, he twisted his emotions into anger. Gritting his teeth, he glared furiously.

"I won't let you!"

"This pathetic determination will lead you nowhere. Your power is nothing before me. I believe you know that. So, take your chance and-"

Returning a glare, Zirkos released his overflowing powers, hitching their breaths, snapping his fingers twice.

Everyone was stunned at his level of power as he ordered dominantly.

"Get the fuck out."

But soon shifted his gaze, pointing at his finger seductively at Lady Red.

"Except you. You can stay if you want, Darling."

She was indeed a graceful lady, with long red hair and blue eyes, a true epitome of charm and it attracted Zirkos.

"Perish, you monster." She hissed from disgust to which he only smirked in return.

"Your loss, Darling."

He chuckled at her anger and shook his head before turning back to Zephyr, giving him a chance to take back his land.

Because Zirkos knew he had potential.

"So? Do you want to die here? Or die trying?"

Zephyr glared, fumes emitting from him as he hated the fact he was unable to do anything and yelled with unbreakable resolve.

"I will return and take back the land you have stolen from me, you monster!"

"Good luck, Prince of Delphia. Though it will take you a hundred years to defeat the Dragon of The Abyss, yet I am willing to give you a chance."

He returned a lethal smirk. Deep down he was pumped to perceive where his journey would lead him.

Left with no choice but to leave with a few people he had left.

Zephyr gathered his things, took his Father's body along and left his beautiful land with a heavy heart.

Along with a determination to return and redeem his mistakes, starting his journey to defeat this monster.
