"I refuse to heed to your order and may I know what you will do?"Neya asked.
Neya was so bold. The fear that she had had for Nahor disappeared with in some time after their marriage and after she had got to know him better a little better.
Within the short time that Neya stayed, she learnt that she could only speak to him when he was in a good mood but if he was not in one then she would regret it for the rest of the day. To her this new discovery of hers could be a great advantage to her. She would not let a great opportunity for her to go to waste. She was going to use this to her advantage.
Since Nahor was in a good mood he did not get angry. He usually got angry to anything that was related to disrespect or inappropriate behavior but this time he was calm. Maybe it was something that happened not long from then. Maybe it was because of the concern that Neya showed when he got injured. Why wouldn't she. Neya was so kind. If she would help a stranger or a little child who was in pain. Then why wouldn't she help the man who was now her husband. Neya helped him because she would have helped anyone who was in his place. Nahor was slightly moved by the care that she showed for him that is why he was at least in a good mood.
"Oh so you will not obey. Then you will not mind if I take it away from you."Nahor said as he walked towards her and picked the book right out of her hands.
As his hands came forward,Neya carefully observed them.
She saw no wound or any sign that there had been a wound on his hand before. She then looked again to prove whether her eyes were deceiving her or not but it still did not make a difference. There was no injury on his hand.
"How did it suddenly heal so fast?"she asked herself.Maybe she was dreaming but it didn't really seem like a dream to her.
She could nott just ask Nahor about it. It was obvious he would not tell her.
"Now you can go to sleep,"Nahor said.
Neya just looked at him and before she could realize it she said,"Good night."
She was shocked at what she had just said and so was Nahor.
So she quickly covered herself with a blanket and went to sleep.
But that thing was still bothering her so she decided that next thing in the morning, she would ask Jordan about it.
